I heard about Dr. Andrei in a bible study with a word from what I thought was out of \"left field\". An excitement grew as I looked into it. I decided to go for it. The planning done by Dr. Andrei, a detailed compationate man, and his team were impecable from the moment of decision. Seeing a psychologist, nutritionist and then Dr. Andrei. Seemed he had all the bases covered. A three month waiting period before the surgery was perfect to be sure it was right for you. rnThe surgery itself was not the breeze I thought it would be but the care I received at St. Barnabas hospital was just awesome. They were pleasant and I'm told only Dr. Andrei's picks are allowed to care for his patients. His picks were most professional and caring. I spent 3 days there and was feeling much better by then to return home. I lost 20 lbs in the first 2 weeks. I am not hungry, I took 4 weeks off of my job which I think was good because I needed to regain my strength. Post surgery was just as important and fulfilled every need. I saw a hematologist, and a endocrinolgist for my diabetes. No stone unturned. rnI have no regrets and look forward to losing more in the weeks and months to come. I also look forward to a new outlook on life and of course a new wardrobe. rnThank you to Dr. Andrei and his whole team I am on the road to recovery. And my friends are asking about it too!

My surgery was on 21 September 2009 and Dr. Andrei has been an upmost excellent surgeron. The surgery is a total succss and I had absolutely no pain what soever. The only thing was having nasua and gas pains. This gave me the pervilage to have the ngtube put in for only 24 hous. After it was taken out, my problem was corrected and feeling great. I spent 4 days in the hospital were the staff was fantastic. On the 3 and 4 days, I was doing my laps in the hallway. On the 3 day, I was allowed to take a shower. What a great feeling. rnrnAt his office, the entire staff is so friendly and concern. I just love it. I will always recommend Dr.Andrei for both surgeries. I have a girlfriend, who is my support at home along with my parents. My girlfriend will be getting her band, and Dr. Anderi will also be her surgeron.rnrnJust to let you know, I truely trust him and his staff. I do travel from the Jersey Shore (Bayville,NJ), and travel time does not mean anything, when you got the best.

Dr Andrei and his staff were fantastic. Dr Andrei is a patient, kind encouraging man as is his staff. I particularly appreciated his concern from the beginning when I told him I had esophagus concerns and he ordered an endoscopy to be sure all was well there.rnAlso, before the surgery I had some health issues and not only did his staff call me but so did Dr Andrei to check with me.rnA week before he postponed my surgery because he felt I needed another week due to low blood sugar issues. He is a doctor who listens to his patients. rnPamela, Shari, Shannon are always pleasant, quick to back to me when I have questions or concerns.rnThe surgery went exactly as Dr Andrei (and staff) explained. Hospital (St BArnabus) experience was good. There was no pain after the surgery, my energy was good, spirit was great. All I felt was as if I did too many sit ups. Little (very little) pulling in lower sides. I never even took Tylenol for the discomfort.rnrnPamela is excellent. Seems to know all the questions before I ask them. I feel safe and confident with Pamela in her care for me.rnrnrn

The surgery went well, the staff did a great job, the surgeon also did a great job. Filing disability papers was easy. The worst part of it all was the tape (hairy).rnrnThank you!

Before surgery I was alittle nervious not knowing what to do and if I would do everything right. I decided to get the surgery through Dr Andrei from word of mouth from fellow co-workers who had surgery done by Dr Andrei and they told me he is one of the best. When I met his staff they are the most proffessional and caring group. Dr andrei staff are with me every step so far and make sure I am not alone so I cannot mess up. When I met Dr Andrei I felt calm and relaxed knowing this man has the golden hands. Everyone gets nervious before surgery because of risks, but Dr andrei and his staff make not think of the risks but think of the pleasures of having a new life, a healthy life.

My first impression when I met Dr Andrei was that he was mean-but he was testing me to see if I was serious about weight loss. He actually motivated me to lose 30lbs before my surgery. His staff is top notch. They are very thurough and nothing is forgotten. The classes are informative before the surgery. After care is great. I am very happy so far.

I WAS NERVOUS AT FIRST.DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.I GOT TO KNOW THE OFFICE STAFF AND DOCTOR ANDREI HIMSELF.THE NERVOUSNESS WENT AWAY AS I SAW JUST HOW COMPASSIONATE AND CARING THESE PEOPLE TRULY ARE.DOCTOR ANDREI KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING AND I TRUST HIM WITH MY LIFE! THIS PROCCES CONTINUES TO CHANGE MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER AND I RECOMEND PEOPLE NEAR OR FAR TO RESEARCH HIM .CALL HIS OFFICE.MAKE AN APOINTMENT AND THEN SEE FOR YOURSELF WHAT I JUST WROTE.

I can only make very positive statements about Dr Andrei and his entire staff. From my initial visit to the surgery and the follow up care everything have been professional and caring. The staff and Dr. Andrei are well organized and very clear about what I needed to do during all aspects of this process. I especially want to thank the women from the pffice, Sherri, Pam , Shannon and Minnie for all their help and support.

When I had my initial consultation with Dr. Andrei, I knew I was making the right choice. Dr. Andrei was very warm and honest about my situation. The decision to have the Gastric Bypass Surgery is one of the best decisions that I have made in my entire life. rnrnThe support that you receive from Dr. Andrei and his staff is awesome and I cannot say thankyou enough for everything that they have done for me thus far. rnrnMy surgery and recovery went well and I had no complaints. Of course there was some discomfort but I was in good hands throughout my ordeal.rnrnThanks Dr. Andrei and Staff!!!!

Well today is 9 days out and I haven't felt this good since I was in my 20's. I had zero pain after surgery and the care in the hospital was well worth the 2 hr. drive to have it at Saint Barnabus.rnrnDr. Andrei is a warm and caring doctor and the staff is just wonderful and possitive.
