In my life I have encountered many physicians for many different things. But when I met
Dr. Valeriu Andrei I felt comfortable from the very beginning. I came to his office for the gastric bypass. He explain the entire procedure and til this day everything he said it woud be, is exactly what he explained.
His bedside manner are so professional and caring. I have never had a surgeon so caring as
Dr. Andrei. His Staff are just as wonderful. Everyone is caring, understanding, and very professional. If anyone out there needs or is planning on having this procedure or a lapband please see Dr. Valeriu Andrei you will have the most caring and understanding physician and staff.

His staff always call me to chack up on me and make sure that I am doing well.

Dr Andrei and his staff provide excellent information and care, and I felt well informed going into my surgery. The process leading up to surgery was clearly defined, and the staff is always there to answer questions. After my surgery I had to contact the office after hours and Dr Andrei himself called me back.

Dr. Andrei is an amazing surgeon and a true savior! My name is Jill, and if you click on "Before and After" pics, I am the first one - in the purple LL Bean t-shirt. I am 5" 11" and was 350 lbs in my BEFORE picture and was a size 28/30. I have lost 175 lbs and am a size 10. M y surgery was in June 2003, and I lost the majority of my weight in the first year (135 lbs). I had a tummy tuck and breast augmentation in Feb 2005. I maintained that weightloss and then I lost an additional 30 pounds in 2007, for a total of 165 lbs. (And it didn't mess up my tummy tuck!) I had a baby in 2009 ("Charlie" , seen in my AFTER PIC - if you put the mouse on my before pic, the after pic shows up). During my pregnancy I only gained 17 pounds, ate very well and had a healthy, normal pregnancy. The baby is perfect....and again, so was my tummy tuck! Undamaged by pregnancy! Recently, at the end of 2011, I stepped it up a bit, and started increasing my protein and water intake again, and FINALLY lost the rest of my original goal weight-loss, and reached 175 lbs just before Christmas!! I have lost 175 lbs and weigh 175....my ultimate and original goal....afetr 8 1/2 years. Proof that you can continue to lose weight if you continue to use the tool that Dr. Andrei gave you and the knowledge that his team bestowed on you....I did! Good luck to everyone who has headed down this path, or is contemplating it. It is truly and amazing and wonderful journey! Dr. Andrei is the best - my sister, sister-in-law and neighbor have all become patients of his and now my husband is scheduled for his Roun-En-Y in April. We wouldn't consider any other surgeon. He takes the time to listen to your fears and concerns and is able to answer all your questions fully. His medical staff and office team are truly fantastic and professional. 18 months ago i was 290lbs day of surgery .my height was 5"8 .now i weight 180lbs i have no fat hanging off me and i feel good.before the surgery legs , hands ,back, ankles were killing me .i was 53 and work on heavy machinery couldnt do it any more.My body was hurting me.i decided to do this operation .it took me a year to make this discision. the best thing i ever did.my whole family gives me alot of support.its worth every penny.

Dr. Andrei, Has been an excellent sourse. From the first time I meet with him after seeing a different Dr. for 6 mo and becoming very uncertin what will happen, Dr. Andrei was refered to me by a friend and from that point everything has been safe and a with out any problems from staff to the hospital.

My first experience with Dr Andrei, I was quite impressed with the first rate professionality of his office and staff. I've found a positive attitude and overall great outlook upon life with everyone of his tremendous staff. Starting with Kerry and Allyson greeting me when I come in and Andy and Shannon following up with me every day to see how I'm doing and Sherry taking care of my proffesional needs with my employer and special Kudos to Pamela for all her guidance and support for my nutritional needs and especially to Dr Andrei. I felt extremely comfortable with him from the start. He explained everything in detail, let me know what to expect and delivered on all. When you hear phrases like "This can improve your life by decades" you can't help but to be inspired. What you have here is an entire team of professionals. I have been nurtured and guided at every step along my journey.

Dr. Andrei is a hero to me!! He has helped change my life and I am forever grateful. The changes in my body and mind because of the surgery are very positive. Dr. Andrei is very honest and kind. The office staff is as wonderful as Dr. Andrei.
