Dr. Andrei and all of his staff were wonderful throughout my journey. They were supportive while giving me all the educational tips I needed to be successful during this phase. Once I had my surgery they were still there for me and my family giving us the push and extra help as we needed it. I completed my surgery 3 years ago this past December but my journey began 8 months prior to having it. They are always there for me and I have no doubt that they will evr stop being supportive.
great doctor all three of my family used dr andrei my wife me and my daughter with no problems post surgey and since i work in the health care feild and have herd alot of bad stories about problems after surgey iam very pleased with him and his office staff which are also fantastic and very helpful
All I ever wanted was to be able to get on the ground and play with my grandchildren, even though I didn't have any at the time of my surgery. Dr,. Andrei, in his most professional and caring way helped me to achieve my goal. He is kind, thorough and always available. I am two years out and I truly must say that he helped to save my life. At 120 pounds lighter I now have a future to look forward to. I still get a charge when someone who hasn't seen me in a while walks past me because they did not recognize me. Thanks Dr. Andrei for making each day worth living. I tell everyone I meet about you. You are my hero!!
It was a very lucky day in my life when I met Dr. Andrei. He is the most caring physician I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He guides you and cares for you every step of the way. His patience is unbelievable. His staff is a credit to him. They all, Pam, Minnie, Debbie, Sherri and Shannon are the greatest. They always make themselves available for questions or concerns. Dr. Andrei or his staff called me every day for weeks after the surgery to check up on me. What a great feeling to know that they really care!!!
Any one who is considering this type of surgery should definitly meet with Dr. Andrei and his staff. A kinder more caring group of people you will never find. I am truly blessed!!
I had my original Weight Loss Surgery with Dr. Andrei in 2003. What impressed me most about him was that her required all his pre-surgical patients to attend his support group meetings. I was scared of the surgery, and yet desperate for it. I was 280 lbs, and feeling old at 50. When I walked into this huge ballroom where his support group meeting were, I was shocked to see what must have been hundreds of obese people. I had never seen so many fat people in one room. In the front of the room, were post surgical patients who spoke to the group. All these very thin people. They all looked so happy. One after the other they spoke of their experiences, both good and bad. I felt hope for the first time. There was such a long list of people waiting for the surgery. I had to wait almost a year for my surgery. It was well worth it. Dr. Andrei, I learned was fastidious in the OR, and demanded excellence from his staff. I was in good hands. The entire experience was positive. I was surrounded by friends who supported me all the way. Dr. Andrei has been supportive throughout my journey. I've had ups and downs, but he has always been there to help me find my way back. I am enjoying good health, and renewed success. I would recommend Dr. Andrei in a heartbeat. He is an award winning surgeon, and has been around for a while. I believe he paved the way for all the others. His staff is professional, and his nutritionist is pro-active and helpful.
I want to Thank Dr. Andrei for helping me throught out my journey. I no longer have high blood preassure, pain in my legs, hips, and back. I feel like I"m 15 years old!!! again... I feel like I can do enything.. even though I've experience some minor conplication, I feel good overall.
Dr. Andrei is my angel. I was struggling with my weight forever until I met Dr. Andrei. I feel the best I ever have in my life. Do not get me wrong it is a struggle everyday but having the support from him and his staff makes it so much easier. I have lost 100 pounds and feel great. I have tried every diet, diet pill you name it. Nothing ever worked and all I was doing was getting bigger and bigger and more depressed it was not good. I finally took the next step and got some information about the lap band surgery. I was very interested and went looking for doctors. Dr. Andrei was the best doctor I saw and interviewed. All the other doctors treated me like I was just another patient better yet an experiement. As soon as I met with Dr. Andrei he made me feel like a person and he took his time with me and explained everything he needed to, to make me understand what I was in for. Dr. Andrei is the best. I would not put my life in anyone elses hands. I would recommend him to anyone that is interested in this surgery. He is not only caring but very maticulate with everything he needs to do which is important to me. He wants things to be perfect and that is the way I want it so I knew that he was the doctor for me.rnrnNot only was Dr. Andrei such a breathe of fresh air but his staff is hands up the best as well. Everyone is so caring and helpful and if there is a problem they are on the phone with you ASAP. They never let you wait days before a response they are on it one, two, three, it feels like a family in his office. When you walk in there they all no you by name. They have so many patients and everytime I walked in they knew who I was with no problem. It is just so welcoming. I could not have found a better doctor and office to treat me. rnrnNovember 7, 2009 will be 1 year since my surgery and I feel GREAT!!!!!! I have lost 100 pounds. I am at my goal and plan to stay at this for the rest of my life. This is the happiest and healthiest I have been my whole life and intend to stay this way. Thanx to Dr. Andrei and his staff. Doctor Andrei, has made me very happy and I feel that he is a wonderful doctor. I know that all future patientswould also feel the way I feel about him. My cousin had a Lad Band done by Doctor Andrei is al so please with his work. I know all future patients, would also be please with his work.
I would like to say that I am very happy that I had my Lad Band done by doctor Andrei. This doctor has been very understanding and kind. My impression of Dr. Andrei has not change overtime, I still feel that he is the best doctor because he has taking out time to make you feel good. Dr. Andrei make sure to address all the risks of surgery and I rate him the best. And his staff is wonderful and I know that all future patients would be glad that they pick his office to have their Lad Band or Gastric surgery.
Dr. Andrei is my guardian angel when I couldn't function with everyday things like walking, breathing, sleeping. After meeting Dr. Andrei (I must tell all of you reading this he is the most pleasant and soothing, calming doctor in the world) after having my gastric bypass surgery up until now was a blessing in disguise for me. I needed help and he was there and has continued to be there always along with staff. They are wonderful and extremely helpful and caring towards me and my long journey to a healthy happy life. My surgery went extremely well. I did not have any complications and was quickly bounced back after sugery. I feel great. I am still following my new life style. I am happy with the tool given to me to start my weight loss and am still determined to loose at least 40 to 50 more pounds. My surgery was on April 1, 2010 and I feel my weight loss is comfortable at 86 lbs but should be more than that by now. But slower may be better for me. The food plan is a bit challenging for me to put it into a meal plan. I am not getting discouraged about my slow weight loss but at least I am not gaining back any weight and I will get to my weight when I get there. Thank you Dr. Andrei and staff for always being there for me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrei's for almost 10 years. I lost 100 lbs. after my gastric bypass. After the initial weight loss, I struggled and began gaining again. I gained about 60 lbs when Dr. Andrei decided it was time to do a revision. I lost about 35 lbs after the revision and began struggling again. Last year, Dr. Andrei suggested a second revision, but I wanted to wait. I wanted to prove to myself that I could control my weight before i went for another surgery. Dr. Andrei was extremely supportive of this decision and for the past year I have seen his nutritionist, Pamela, regularly. I have managed to lose weight and am feeling very good about myself.
I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am for the surgery and Dr. Andrei's (and his staff's) support. I was stuck in a chair, ashamed to leave the house, and now I have a more active life, I HAVE A LIFE. My husband had the surgery about 8 months ago and it has been so exciting to see him healthier and more active.
