He was funny, and down to earth. He did not make me feel like I should feel bad about myself. He seemed very serious about his job, and how MY weight loss would take place. I liked everyone in the office. I think before and after care is second to none.

I was at first very skeptical but after attending a seminar on April 26th. I could not believe how ALL my questions were answered. He covers everything from before - during & after the surgery without making you feel rushed. He was available as long as we needed him that day. rnMy first appointment was on May 6th, and (as I always am at the Dr office) I was very nervous. The staff from the reception area to the assistants to the nurses were all very pleasant and want to make sure I was very comfortable rnDr Broussard again explained the importance of the whole process and what he expected out of me as a patient to accomplish before surgery. rnI really feel that he is concerned about me as a person (he will not do the surgery if he thinks I am not ready for it) and wants this to go as smoothly as possible for both of us. He made sure I knew about the support groups available and the risk associated with this surgery. rnI definitely think very highly of Dr Broussard and the staff at Weight Wise and their dedication to fighting obesity.

Dr. B is the greatest. He has the best bedside manner and takes time to answer any questions that you may have. He also makes sure that you do all of your pre-op and wants you to be sure that you are doing the right thing. I love him even if he isn't a Sooners Fan.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. BROUSSARD WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE. HE WAS DOWN TO EARTH AND SPOKE IN PLAIN ENGLISH(NOT DOCTOR)HE MADE EVERYTHING EASY TO UNDERSTAND MADE ME FEEL AT EASE. HE COVERED EVERY ASPECT OF THE SURGERY FROM WHAT I NEED TO DO BEFORE SURGERY TO WHAT WILL HAPPEN DURING SURGERY AND WHAT I HAVE TO DO AFTER SURGERY FOR IT TO BE SUCCESSFULL.THE OFFICE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. I WOULD RATE THEM A 10 WITH NO PROBLEM AND FEEL COMPLETELY CONFIDENT HANDING MY CARE OVER TO THEM. THANKS! KELLIE

Dr. Broussard conducted the first seminar that I attended at the WeightWise Bariatric Center in Edmond, OK. I found him to be very informative and easy to talk to. My first appointment with the Doctor was very reasuring. I felt like the doctor and his staff asked plenty of questions in order to minimize any potential problems along my weight lose journey. I would gladdly recommend Dr. Broussard to a friend.

I adore Dr. Broussard, besides he's from my part of down south where the soul food is... but he says no mo GUMBO fo me, shy!!rnYou can feel the passion Dr. Broussard has for his line of work. He's very warm, and has arngreat bedside manner, and a darlin personality. His questions were clear and conciece. Choosing a surgeon for my WLS was the most difficult aspect of this journey for me; when I met Dr. Broussard at his seminar, I knew without a doubt he was the one. He inspired confidence and I could tell he was a very nice person. My opinion of him has only become more positive with time, and I appreciate everything he has done for me. He is very honest, very blunt, and very caring and he made me realize that excuses for being overweight no longer have a place in my life. He imposed a tough pre-op diet on me, at first I was not happy about it at all, but today, I can't thank him enough for that.

I had my lap band surgery on 3-3-08 with Dr. Broussard. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. He was positive and reassuring to me just before I went into surgery. Afterward he visited me and answered all my questions, gave me a pep talk and encouraged me to walk, drink, and rest. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a WLS surgeon.

He was very personable and patient for all my questions. The facility in Edmond is beautiful. The office staff is very nice and willing to help you in any way necessary. Did I say patient ? He was thorough in discussing everything with me, let me know what he expected of me (to lose 32 pounds before he would do the surgery) and then used his staff to help me get there. I felt very safe in his hands, at the facility and with the aftercare I have received. They cover it all, diet, exercise, nutrition and support groups. I couldn't be happier with my choice of where I went and who took care of me. The information below says to try to mention negatives as well as positives. Sorry, I can't think of a single negative.

Have only met with him once,but seemed to know allot about bariatric surgery. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
