I went to a seminar where he was the speaker and he is so funny. I like it so much that he has a funny bone about him. He knows his stuff too! He seems so eager to help us. The office staff is awesome as well. I have had only my first appointment but they are so great! I think that if you live in this area then this is who you should go with if you are considering surgery. Aftercare is very important to them and there is an aftercare program. The risks to surgery were told in great detail at the seminar. We were made fully aware of the risks. I give this office a 10 out of 10!

i thought dr. burry was great. he made sure i had all the facts about what i was doing. and he made sure that i was aware the surgery is only a tool and the real work was up to me. he was very patient, and very informative. liv-lite has made sure i have been involved in a group of people who are going through the same thing as i, and that has helped me so much. i encourage you to attend everything you can, no matter what stage of the process you are in. i can not wait for my sugery to be done, and i know with dr. burry i am in good hands.

From everyone I have spoken with, he is an excellent surgeon. I have found him to be kind and seemingly concerned about me as a person as well as a patient.


I am now 14 months post op. I had several complications after surgery and it has been a difficult time. I required a second surgery one month after the by-pass. As Rick Mark said prior to the surgery, complications are rare, but miserable if they happen to you. I have lost 102 pounds and struggle not to lose more.

My first impression of Dr. Nazarian was his soft spoken mannerism and me seemed to care for me as a new patient. The caring atmosphere is expended to the entire staff. The are a group of wonderful individuals. I love Rosie at the front desk. She is an angle. Future patients you value a caring surgeon should feel at ease because this man is caring and he takes time with his patients he always answers all of my questions and addresses my concerns. I would rate him on a scale of one to ten and a TEN. Anyone considering this surgery should also know that he came very highly recommeded to me by another former patient. That means a lot.

Dr. Burry came in with a big smile on his
face. He wasn't a very big man. He talked
slowly so that I understood him. I sat on the
table and he came over by me so that he could
explain the details of the procedure. He was
patient even though I was so nervous I found
myself repeating questions. His office staff
are all very pleasent and eager to assist.
I would refer patients to his office/care.
Dr. Burry says that this surgery is only the
first step in helping weight loss but you still have to watch what you eat,exercise, and take your vitamins in order to achieve long term results. There are two pages of risks that he goes over every one and discusses the possible risks. I would give
Dr. Burry an 11 out of 1-10.

He is the BEST ! And his staff is wonderful. I have even become friends with his staff.

I met Dr. Nazarian, at his support group and then had my first appointment after the meeting that was held in Las Vegas on October 11, 2003. I found him to be a soft-spoken gentle physician. I was immediately at ease with him and found him to be direct but not obtrusive or rude.

His office staff are a dream. Very kind and considerate people, who are very supportive. I would highly recommend this physician and his staff if for only one reason, then will take the time to answer any question you may have.

I met with Dr. Burry for the first time yesterday 9/25/03. He was very friendly and made me feel at ease right away. He was informative ,he explained things thoroughly and was very receptive to my questions. The staff in his office are absolutely fantastic. Their willingness to assist the patients in anyway is simply outstanding!!! Dr. Burry and his staff have been extremely helpful with the insurance appeal process.

Dr Burry was very young but but very easy to talk to, made me feel very comfortable. I did find out he is not as young as he looks. However still very easy to talk to! I really like all the Liv-Lite staff. Each and everyone came to visit me several times while I was in the hospital and that meant alot! Dr Burry emphasizes alot on after care, as in Support Groups, good nutrition and exercise. Dr Burry explained all risk at the very first meeting and listened to all my concerns. Even the morning of surgery was there to anwser any more. I think that Dr Burry is wonderful! I think that I had both Surgical competence and bedside manner, I am sure not everyone gets that! I heard from others in the hospital that said I was lucky to have such a great surgeon which was even more reassuring to me of what I already thought! I truly have nothing negative to say.

I MET WITH DR. BURRY FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY. HE SEEMED VERY EAGER TO ANSWER ALL OF MY MANY QUESTIONS, AND WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AS TO HOW THE PROCEDURE WOULD BE DONE. HE WAS QUITE YOUNG LOOKING AND REMINDED ME OF A "DOOGIE HOWSER, MD." I GUESS THE REAL FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT I AM GETTING OLDER SO THE DOCTORS LOOK LIKE KIDS TO ME!! ( HA!HA!)

DR. BURRY WAS VERY UPFRONT WITH MY HUSBAND AND I CONCERNING THE RISKS OF THE SURGERY, AND WAS VERY EAGER TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS.( AND BELIEVE ME I HAD A TON OF THEM)

HE IS AN EXCELLENT SURGEON, AND HAS DONE A GREAT JOB ON ME. HIS BEDSIDE MANNER WAS VERY GOOD, HE HAS A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND IS AN ALL AROUND GREAT GUY!! I HIGHLY RECOMEND HIM.
