My first impression of Dr.Chapman was fear!rnI was so scared and anxious.rnThis man, very soon would be giving me a new lease on life!rnBefore I left the office that day my impression changed.rn He was very knowledgeable and understanding.rnHis office staff was professional and friendly.rnThere was nothing I did not like about Dr. Chapman.rn I would like future patients to know that if you really want help with a stubborn weight problem, get two people involved in your care, God first then the surgeon.rnAfterccare is really stressed by Dr.Chapman.rnECU Bariatric Clinic does have a very structured program in place. rnDr. Chapman went over the risks, as well as the benefits.rnIf I was to rate him on a scale of 1 to a 100, I would give him a 150!rnSurgical competence, and bedside manner are both important to the success of my care.

When I first met Dr. Chapman, I was a little intimidated. Here was this man who was one of the best at what he does and I was putting the rest of my life in his hands! But I was determined and convinced that I was going to do well...so he liked me. The best way to do right by Dr. Chapman is to do right by yourself. He will be proud of you...and proud of his work...if you take care of the gift he gave you!

I like Dr. Chapman. He is comes across as very competent, and was able to answer all my questions fully. His success rate is great and he's been doing this surgery for years. I am very confident that I have a great surgeon to see me through this journey.

Very caring and compassionate. To the point and talks quickly, but takes the time to answer all questions you have. I thought he was great!

I found Dr. Chapman to be very straight forwarded and willing to answer any questions that I had. Dr. Chapman's staff are wonderful. They are all so helpful. Dr. Chapman explained what was ahead of me and explained that they have a very strict and precise routine for their patients and for their patients to follow. By following this routine, the patient is able to progress safely and fastly toward their goal. I had done some reading on Drs. Chapman and McDonald via Obesity Help members and I was sooo happy when I was assigned Dr. Chapman. I am looking forward to working with him and his staff on my journey of weight loss.

He was very quick and to the point, which is fine with me. I did'nt want someone to repeat to me what has been drilled in my head for the past year. He's obviously done this lots of times and thinks that mine will be a routine procedures. I hope he's right.

Dr. Mann was very straight forward as far as explaining the possible risks, complications, and of course the benefits; nothing was sugar coated, which is great. His office staff have been very helpful and have answered any and all questions that I have had.
The only thing that I didn't care for is the fact that I didn't actually meet Dr. Mann until after all the pre-op testing, but I guess that's not a huge deal.
