Had a great Surgeon in Dr. Chapman my surgery was the 3rd of march. I spent two days in the Hospital to assure everything was good. Dr. Chapman has a wonderful staff working for him I never felt alone in this whole thing and I have always had great respect for Dr. Chapman's skills. I would suggest Dr. Chapman and his staff to anyone debating about this surgery they will be with you every step of the way.....
I had a fantastic first impression of Dr. Chapman when I met him earlier this week. He took the time to answer all my questions and explained the differences in the surgeries he offers. He eased my fears and made me feel truely confident that I am in the right hands for surgery. He informed me that aftercare for a lap band is a 24 month commitment plus follow ups. The staff was friendly, patient, efficient, and helpful. I would give him a perfect 10 and if you include the staff it jumps to a 20!
My 1st impression of Dr Chapman was good he was stright froward on what needed to be said and what i wanted to hear.I Love Him for saving my life i liked his office staff and his staffs runs the support groups i love going to the meetings i feel really good and i lost only 50 lbs so far but i feel he saved me from a sad life i would tell anyone to see him he has good bed side manners and is a great surgical dr if you read this dr chapman i THANK YOU for a life saving. love Joni Zamora
One the biggest fears I had with Gastric Bypass surgery was the mortality rate. When I first met Dr. Chapman two things changed the way I approached WLS, mentally and emotionally: 1) He was straight forward and spoke his mind. 2)He was confident and reassuring. He discussed what would happen and what to expect. I didn't even need to ask questions from my prepared list. Following my surgery, I looked at my small scars. I smiled at how great I felt and when Dr. Chapman came to visit, I said \" Dr. Chapman, they said you have gifted hands. I believe they are right.\" Beware however, he is so busy and so requested, don't be insulted that he has fellows and other staff who work with him - and you. But, they more than make up for the fast moving Dr. Chapman. I personally feel very fortunate.

I love Dr. Mann! He is SO sweet. Very kind, gentle and takes time to talk with you. He did my endoscopy last week, and I didn't even have a sore throat!
The first time I saw Dr. Mann was after he did the endoscopy. I was a bit groggy from the anesthesia but he came across as very caring. I did not see him again until last week. He was very patient with all my questions and answered them in language that I could understand. I have not seen him at his office in Greenville. Dr. Mann and the other doctors in Greenville do a sort of satellite program in Rocky Mount, NC through Nash Hospital. I would prefer to have my surgery there but because of my insurance, I will have to have it at Pitt Memorial in Greenville, thus I have not had much interaction with his staff in Greenville. The staff in Rocky Mount are terrific. Overall I am very pleased with him.

Dr Mann is very nice and knows his stuff. He reviewed all the possibilities and outcomes before surgery. He smiles and is friendly. He does not joke around alot. He handled my complications and my routine surgery which turned out to be not so routine once we got in there with ease. We are still working on post op infection but he has not done anything to change my opinion of him. I would definately recommend him.
