My impression of Dr. Burpee at the seminar was great, I had very few questions when I went to see him because his seminar was so imformative.

My Husband and I went in for our 1st personal meeting with Dr. Burpee In Nov 2007, he was a great Dr. We discussed what would be best for me and what I needed to do on m part and it all has gone really smooth thanks to his wonderful employee, Sonia... she has taken care of everything without me asking a thing! what a great crew he has... No stress at all involved!

Dr. Burpee in my eyes is a great Dr to have for this WLS. He fully educates his clients and you have to go through seminars and classes to have him even perform the surgery. I was not ill or painful. I did have some normal gass presure issues from the laproscopic procedure, but normal. I went home sore not in pain didn't need any pain meds. I have not been ill or sick and since 4 days out I have been active and 2/27/08 was riding my horse again!

Dr. Chiasson has been thorough and very informative, as well as courteous and professional. My VSG surgery took place on February 13, 2008 and I am doing very well post-op. The Program Coordinator and the office staff are pleasant and helpful, and the aftercare program and WLS support group are excellent - I'm very satisfied with the entire program!

The following remarks are my personal impressions of my own personal experiences. I am making no statements about what other people may experience. rnrnPositive Remarks: I liked and respected Dr. Chiasson from our first meeting; this impression has only strengthened. He returns phone calls promptly. He has been concerned about my postsurgical care and believes what I tell him. There is a structured aftercare program with regular visits, lab work, consultations with Dr. Chiasson and Ms. Duke, and encouraged participation in the Tucson Weight Loss Support group (TUSWLS). He systematically and thoroughly addressed all surgical risks. On a 1 (extremely incompetent and uncaring) to 10 (extremely competent and caring), Dr. Chiasson receives a 10. I rate surgical competence higher than bedside manner. Without surgical competence, bedside manner is a moot concern. His bedside manner, however, is outstanding.rnrnHis office staff is friendly, helpful, and caring. Although a busy office, there is no difficulty in making office appointments. I am always greeted by name. Dr. Chiasson always calls me from the waiting room and escorts me to the exam room. rnrnThe bariatic coordinator, Ms. Duke, was there before and after surgery and made regular phone calls to check on my postop status. She was outstanding. I had difficulty drinking the protein shakes, and she gave me some of her own. I meet with her before every office appointment. She even called after my gallbladder surgery (at 14 weeks WLS postop)to see how I was progressing. She has been very supportive. rnrnDr. Chiasson also performed my gallbladder surgery. I trust him as my surgeon.rnrnNegative Remarks: NONErnrnThe following remarks are my personal impressions of my own personal experiences. I am making no statements about what other people may experience. rnrnI am now 7 1/2 months out from surgery. I like, respect, and trust Dr. Chiasson even more!rnrnI still have nothing negative to say about my experiences with him.

My first impression of Dr. Burpee was a good one, he was thorough, competent, and has a good bedside manner. Office was staff was good, probably a little too busy or they are just short handed. I kind of took the reigns myself and did all the foot work with my insuracnce company and notified the office when I knew something. I initially saw Dr. Burpee in December and now it's April 2 and I'm having surgery tomorrow.

Dr Burpee and his staff were all wonderful. He was always very supportive and encouraging. Boo and Rita always have a kind word to say and even after I was denied the first time they were supportive and told me not to give up. Dr. Burpee's bed side manner and surgical competence were with out a doubt the best . I have recommended him to several people already and will contuine to do so. Thank you Dr. Burpee for giving me back my life.
