Dr.Williams appears to be very concerned
about his work. He made me feel at ease with my decision to have wls and with my choice for him to take care of this medical need. The staff at his office were pleasant and imformative. My only complaint would be the waiting time in his office. But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
Aftercare seems to be a big concern and is stressed as points of importance. His office has an aftercare program which is needed for complete success. Dr. Williams shared with me the risks of surgery so that I could make an imformed decision. Knowing there is always room for improvement, I give him a 9 out of 10. I feel more confident with surgical comeptence, however, both are needed for a positve relationship with your Dr.

i met him last year when my sister went for her visit before surgery. he was very informative and the he was very honest.it was a one on one visit. this time is my turn and he came out and said that since everyone he will explain as a group. he did very well and he still said the same things i remember.
i really feel confortable with him.
i recommend people who are in need of this surgery to look him up. my sister had very good results and i know that i will too.
he explained the fact that this operation can lead to serious problem if we don`t follow up with the changes that we need to do to make this work he explained the risk of the surgery without sugar on it. and he said that we should not stop reading and reseaching this procedure and the aftercare.
i would rate him 10/10.i have not had the surgery yet but from visiting my sister after she had her surgery he over all manner, bedside, teatment etc.. was the best.

I met with Dr. Williams on Sept. 8, 2004. He is a very serious man. However, he was willing to answer all my questions. He was polite and seemed genuinely concerned with my health. His office was rather crowed. Thus, his staff was quite busy. I visited with a nurse practitioner and nutritionist. Both willing to answer all my questions. Anticipate an hour or two wait to see the Dr. He will explain the surgery and associated risks. At this time I think his surgical competence is better than his bedside manner.

At first I thought Dr. David Wernsing was young to be a GI Surgeon. However, although young, he is very knowledged, Kind, and informative. His staff is great, especially Nurse Cindy Naus. When I walk in I'm greeted by name, and with a smile. They're also quick, and get the job done.

I can't say there is anything I really dislike about Dr. Wernsing.

I'm not sure how much he emphasizes about aftercare.. I dont think he is going to leave me high and dry, so far I've only had a 2 week post op appointment, and am set up for my 6 week post-op.

He was point blank about the risks of surgery. He didnt sugar coat anything.

I would rate Dr. Wernsing a 10 out of 10.

Dr. Williams was actually the second surgeon that I visited. The first one that I visited did not impress me with his experince or skills. I did, however, attend the nutrition class, which was also less than I expected. Finally, as I was going for testing, a nurse questioned as to why I sought testing. After I told her, she sugested that I seek a hospital other than her own and gave me Dr. Williams' number. Talk about divine intervention! Dr. Williams and his staff made an immediate impression on me. Kind, helpful and VERY professional. I had to be approved before they would see me, an excellent screening process. My time nor theirs would be wasted. The staff was more than competent, in my opinion, and never lacked for time for your questions or concerns. Aftercare was more than stressed-visiting nurses, physical therapy, plus nutrition counselling on an ongoing basis. We discussed the risks of surgery in depth as one of my bigger concerns was the welfare of my 6 yr old daughter if something should happen to me. Dr. Noel Williams has a great reputation for surgical competence and I can not help but be taken by a tall Scotsman assuring me that he will, indeed, take good care of me. As an added note, the surgical staff in the OR demonstrated an extremely high level of professionalism as well as a deep respect for the man who would soon arrive to do my surgery.

Dr. Schuricht is WONDERFUL thus far, his staff was very helpful and friendly. He knows his stuff, I didnt feel rushed, he answered ALL of my questions, even talked to me about some of my concerns. I look forward to my surgery, (of course), and I will definitely do what I'm supposed to before I get that size 12 up my butt!!!! :)

I specifically remember him holding my hand when they were giving me the anestesia that knocked me out.....that was nice!!!

I had my initial consult with Dr. Wernsing on August 25th. He talked to 5 of us as a group first and then saw us individually. He sounded knowledgable, smiled, but seemed to be rushing around from room to room. To soon for my real opinion---this is just my first impression. More to come later.

Total Professional. But also personable.

Direct and competent.

Staff also competent.

Obviously in high demand, however very mindful to individual patient needs.

Also I really appreciated the thoroughness in taking a look at every issue to ensure a safe and successful outcome. Obviously a higher standard of clinical care.

This is important to me being a Clinical Researcher that makes a living auditing and assessing the quality of clinical care delivered by health care practitioners.

I am very hard nosed when it comes to health care delivery. Too many mistakes are made in health care today are costing lives. Hospitals are very dangerous places to be. Extreme care should not be discounted when considering a major life organ altering surgery like WLS!

I value my life and will not take any unnecessary risk with sub par care.

Noel Williams is a serious professonal that told me "I know what I'm doing"

And that is just what I need to hear.

Dr. Schuricht is a very kind and caring doctor, who doesn't talk down to his patients and is very straigtforward in telling patients what to expect from the surgery.

He is very invested in all his patients reaching their weight lost goals.

His office staff is very friendly and helpful.

What I least like about him is that he is not twins, so he can help and encourage even more patients!

He is a very good surgeon and excellent doctor.

He emphasizes aftercare very much and makes sure that his patients are comfortable and able to handle each step in achieveing their goals.

Yes, his aftercare program is structured in a way with regular post-op appointments, in at which time he also addresses any concerns/questions that the patient may have.

He goes over the risks of surgery in a very straightforward manner and makes sure that each patient makes an informed decision as to weather the surgery is right for them.

I would rate him as an excellent surgeon and doctor.

Dr. Schuricht is equally great in both his surgical competence and his bedside manner. While under his care in the hospital, he personnally checked in on me each day to tell me how great I was doing. He also came in right before I was taken into the O.R. to speak, reinsure and comfort me so that I went in the O.R. very calm and relaxed.
