Obesity Surgery Center Bariatric Center

Have met Dr. Anez just once, but my first impression of him was very positive. He exuded competence and confidence and I felt that it was real. He was softspoken. He explained the Roux en y procedure very clearly. He gave me a very helpful booklet on the surgery with information on what to expect, websites, and a local Staple Club to contact. He was very open to questions and was patient, even though I asked a lot of them. My husband came with me and he feels assured that I'm in good hands too. Whew, the first step has been taken!

Dr. Anez appears to have a flourishing practice. His staff treated me very well. It's clear that they are busy, but everyone has been great. Marisol was so kind when I spoke with her for the first time, she too, answered all my questions.

I will be seeing Dr. Anez two more times before surgery. He made it clear that wls is a tool, and that aftercare is important. I agreed to honor the schedules of appointments he has his patients follow. It's also clear that I have a responsibility to follow through on his recommendations.

He was straightforward on the risks of surgery, he told us what the are, and there is more information in the booklet he gave me.

I've only met Dr. Anez once, but so far, I feel that he is very competent, and I feel as safe as I can, having him as my physician.

My first impression of Dr. Anez was good. He went into details about the surgery, and informed you on what to expect as well as changing your life style after the surgey. My impression of him is still the same. I respect him and have confidence and faith that he will take care of me. His office staff is great, Shannon is very informative and will answer any questions that need answered.

I have had my first appt with Dr. Anez. I was very nervous but Dr. Anez soon put me at ease. He answered my multitude of questions with great patience. He spoke confidently about the procedure. He highligted the risks and encouraged me to read the booklet he gives to each patient. His office staff was very kind. The best bonus was the fabulous women I met while in his waiting room. Unsurprising I suppose, we found we had a lot in common. I can't wait to attend "The Staple Club", Dr. Anez's support group.

My following comments are strictly my OWN opinion and others should not expect their experience will be the same.

Very nice & friendly. Very to the point with a brief rundown of the surgery. Very willing to answer questions but, only if you ask them. Doesn't just offer up information. Covers risks and all (verbally and they are spelled out in a book they have put together about the surgery).

My impression over time of Dr. Anez did not change.

His office staff also very nice and efficient.

What did I least like about him? His quiet nature.

I would highly recommend Dr. Anez to other patients considering this surgery.

He strongly emphasizes aftercare!

I liked Dr Abez very much He was very good at explaing the whole surgery step by step. We had to attend nutrition school and havw many test and meting with DR anez be fore he would do the surgery. the office staff was great very good girls to deal with. I was the first person to ever get Optimum choice hmo to pay for this surgery. Also my older sister had surgery the same time and was approved by welfare for her surgery we were operarted on the same day by the same doctor and we had the same room together. Dr anez has an after care program but I didn't go after my six week check up I have nver been back to get checked. On a scale of 1- 10 I would give dr anaz an 8 or 9 for approval I was happy with my care and so was my sister.

dr.anez is very nice.i know others that have had him do thier surgery,and they are all very well.i hope he can do my surgery!
everyone in his office is very helpful and nice.when i got denied,they were very sympathetic.i am discussing self-pay arrangments with them.he really emphasises the importance of post op care.i recommend him to everyone.

Met him once, seemed to be very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions, great staff. Awaiting approval from my Insurer, wish me luck. Ive been approved. If any one else is having surgery with Dr. Anez, and want a later date or cant make their date, please contact me. I would like the opportunity to have my surgery sooner.

I am very impressed by Dr. Anez. I am anxious and ready for the surgery, however, I have thoroughly thought this through and researched and I am confident that Dr. Anez is the right surgeon for me.

The staff is very friendly and reassuring.
They also seem very competent and professional.

First office visit he explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. He was professional and very polite. He was referred to me by two OR nurses at Fair Oaks hospital. I was pretty confident with their recommendation and after I attended a Staples Club meeting that he recommends I was sure he was the right surgeon for me. His office staff has been helpful and I received my insurance approval in less than a month.

Dr. Anez is awful at the first visit. I was rushed in and out after being kept waiting. He gave me a booklet about the surgery that was horrific in its detail. He is getting better, but a surgeon's bedside manner is not what I count on! His office staff is a well oiled machine. Very pleasant, though.
