Meridian Surgical Group Bariatric Center
When i first saw Dr. Evanson i thought of my son. Looked the same age. I brought my mother with me on my consult and she and i both were very impressed with him. He really seems to know what he is talking about and he seems like he really cares about you. He told us of all the risks, aftercared and just the future of his patients. I am also very happy with his staff. They have been very kind and quick. I havent had the surgery yet but as of right now i would rate Dr. Evanson a 10.
I am very pleased with my surgeon and her staff. They have always been very professional, kind, caring and willing to help.
I would recommend Dr. Inman to anyone. She has the entire package: competence, bedside manner and a staff that supports you through the entire process!
The only downside is volumn. When calling the office for a specific person, generally you have to leave a message. I can only imagine the amount of calls they get daily so I would anticipate this for most offices.
Many people have commented on how young he looks. I work with many young new doctors and I thought Dr. Evanson looked about the right age. Old enough to have great sugical experience young enough to have nice steady hands. I'm getting old enough they all look young to me anyway. The first time I saw his picture on the St. Vincent web site I decided I did not want him because he was to cute. However when I called to schedule an initial consult at St. Vincent the day I could go was a day he was doing consultations. After meeting him all reservations went out the window. I liked him and felt comfortable with him immediatly. He's warm, honest, he lays it all out on the line so you know what is involved and what his expectations are. The staff in his office are friendly and very helpful. Sometimes it is hard to get thru without leaving a message but they always returned the calls. Care at the hospital was also top notch. Ona scale of 1-10 I would give St.Vincent and the office a 10. Dr. Evanson gets a 20. He did such a good job I won't hold that Purdue thing against him!

My original DS surgery was performed by Dr. John C. Alverdy, at the University of Chicago hospital. Now I am under the care of Dr. Margaret Inman, in Indianapolis. I have enormous respect for both of these talented surgeons who have each contributed to my being able to re-gain my health and my life.
My first impression of Dr Inman was that she was a no nonsense bottom line person. I liked her right away. She was up front and honest with me. I wish that she would have taken a little more time with me on our one on one. Her staff was very helpful and friendly.
I found their information night very informative and helpful. They are right there if you need help with anything. I liked the fact that they do have a structured aftercare program and they encourage you to contact them if you have any comments, questions or concerns.
She was up front with the risks involved with weight loss surgery. I would highly recommed Dr Inman.
Since I haven't been approved yet for surgery I am still in the beginning stages, and finding my way to approval, I can't speak to her bedside manner, but I believe her competence speaks for itself when she sees you in her office and conducts the information seminar.
