I was familiar with Dr.M.Williams before I ever made it to his office. First visit was with a family member. I was impressed how he presented himself and answered all questions to my family member's satisfaction. Office staff was very friendly and informative and if they didn't know the answer, they directed you in the right direction. he gives the impression he enjoys his work is good at his work and emphasizes follow up care is very important, not just a maybe. He addressed all of the risks of surgery and goes into more detail if requested. I need to mention at this time I am in the medical profession and it was nice hearing a doctor answer questions without being annoyed. Overall 10 out of 10. His stats speak for them self and he took time with my family member who was totally unfamiliar with medical terms and language. Looking forward to having him as my doctor. Only problem he is not in my insurance network. I'm hoping to be able to work something out. Felt comfortable with him and think I could address any problem with him or his nurse.rnMade a point of this is only tool and the work is up to the individual having the surgery and Yes weight can be regained if you don't follow directions.

Dr. Williams is very professional, informative and gentle. His office staff is efficient and helpful. From the first pre-op evaluation and throughout the surgery, I only needed to make a phone call and have any problem or question with my health resolved. The aftercare program was explained and I especially liked the bag of \"goodies\" that included a journal, lunch bag, vitamins, and calcium(tums). A 3 ring binder was also given me that included everything I needed to know after surgery. That journal became my bible to get through the process. I am now 8 weeks post-op and doing well with a loss of 36 pounds. On a scale of 1-10, (in all areas) I rate Dr. Williams, his staff and Emory's Johns Creek Hospital at a 20.
I was very comfortable with Dr. Williams from the moment that I met him. He has a warm demeanor and is very professional. I was impressed with his expertise as well as the level of care I received before and after my surgery. Dr. Williams and his staff took measures to ensure that I was aware of every detail to be performed before, during and after my surgery. Dr. Williams has a clear and structured program. He is very careful to be sure that you understand all of the risks involved with the surgery. His program includes a structured pre-op and post-op program as well as regular follow-up appointments. The office staff at Bariatrics MD is very friendly and professional. They give each patient their individual and undivided attention. Overall, I would rate Dr. Williams as 100%+. I am very pleased with the care that I received from both Dr. Williams and his staff.

I thought he was very nice and informative. His bedside manners are very good. He listens to what you have to say and how you feel about the surgery. He explains the pros and the cons. Also what he expects of you. I feel that he takes what he does very serious. He does not only show you a video he discuss it with you when he examine you. He is part of the support group and speaks at them explaining what to epect and how he would like to see you progress.
1/20/09-Surgery went well and I just love my surgeon, I had to go back in New Years Eve and my surgeon came right in and fix the problem in about 20mins. He told me that I would be alright prior to the surgery and I am. He is so good at what he does. I think God for him and for God guiding his hands through all of my care.

Dr. Williams was excellent, friendly, informative, and is supposed to be superb with the instruments which I guess is the most important part! I had met Dr. Williams in 2003 when I had my VGB, but he was not my surgeon at the time.rnrnI had a lap revision from a VBG to RNY. I think I am in less pain 4 days post op on my revision than I was 4 days post-op with my VBG. The Emory at Johns Creek facility is almost brand new and very nice.rnrnDr. Williams also successfully obtained my insurance approval in about 10 days (insurance approval request by another surgeon earlier in the year was denied).rnrnI felt like I was in great hands the whole way and have enjoyed working with both Dr. Williams and his office staff. The office process was very organized, informative, and well thought out.
