Met with Dr. Lane on 5-16-02. Dr. Lane appears very professional and competant. He explained the surgery and answered all my questions.

I really liked him he actually looked me in the eye and i didn't see disgust in his eyes. The staff was really nice ansewered any questions i had.I liked everything about the visit and i'm glad i chose him.HE WENT over all the pro's and con's of the surgery with me and told me about after care and really showed an interst in what was best for me not just fattening his wallet. The only bad thing was i had to wait 3 months to even get in to see him.But it was worth it.

I think Dr. Weinstein is a very smart man. He left no question un-answered. Full of information and sincere.

My first impression of Dr. Snow was very positive. He asked me questions to be sure that I was aware of how I had arrived in his office. He explained in detail what the surgery entailed and gave me an overview of my life after surgery.

Dr. Snow's staff was professionally pleasant but not overly friendly. They did not seem to be truly interested in me or any details about me. They did their job and nothing else.

The only difficulty I see with Dr. Snow is the follow-up or aftercare. I had surgery on a Tuesday and went home on a Thursday and was at work that Saturday. I was told to do what I felt like doing. After a week at work, I now realize that I needed at least two if not three weeks to recuperate fully. I have a lot of questions that I haven't found the answer to and don't like feeling alone with this.

Overall, I would rate Dr. Snow as excellent as a surgeon and for his bedside manner; but so far, the aftercare has not been sufficient.

Dr. Hannon was really a nice man. He explained everything to a tee. I feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon. He removed my gall bladder several years ago. I feel that I am in good hands.

I had my first consultation January 29,2002. Filled out a lot of paper work and had to wait almost 2 hours before I saw him. He was very easy to talk to and described in detail what would be done and what to expect. I really was impressed with him and on a scale from 1 to 10; I give him a 10. His office staff is very helpfull and has done a great job in getting the paper work off to my insurance company. After they got my records from my doctors and all the necessary paperwork they sent it out a week after I saw him. I was approved in 2 weeks. I had my next visit with him April 4, 2002 and the earlist they could set up for my surgery was July 2, 2002. So far all appointments made with him; you have to wait at least 1 to 2 hours to see him. But he will spend a lot of time talking to you and will answer any questions you ask. I will beable to get my pre-op studies done here in Pensacola, FL with my primary care doctor 2wks before the surgery. I have heard so many good things about him from members in my WLS support group and the ones who have had surgery with him have had great results and say he is a great surgeon. I can't wait!!!

confident, explained things well, took his time with me, answered questions in detail, aleveated some fears, staff was nice, busy office, part of the Wienstien Group in Mobile, AL I am going to pre-op tests april 5th, and the surgery is on the 16th of April. Aftercare is important, and that this was a last resort, to weight loss, I have tried so hard on diets all of my life. He told me the risks of the surgery were like any other risks of major surgery. I am having a lap RNY, I liked him, and I think that his group has support meetings for "US" Will tell more soon!!!!!!

I haven't seen him yet. The nurse in my PCP's office recommended him or his associate Dr Weinstein to me. She told me that one of her co workers in my Dr's office used him and was very pleased. I have an initial consultation appointment on April 30 2002. Will update after and let you know what I think of him.

DR. WEINSTEIN IS ONE OF THE BEST DOCTORS THAT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. FROM THE MOMENT I WALKED INTO HIS OFFICE HE AND HIS STAFF MADE ME FEEL WELCOME AND ACCOMODATED. ONE THING ABOUT DR. WEINSTEIN THAT MADE HIM UNIQUE WAS THAT HE GAVE ME A QUIZ UPON OUR INITIAL MEETING. AFTER I ANSWERED ALL OF HIS QUESTIONS HE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE HIS PLEASURE TO PERFORM THE SURGERY ON ME. I DID NOT GET IT AT FIRST SO I ASKED HIM WHAT THAT WAS ABOUT. HE SAID THAT HE WANTED TO MAKE SURE I WAS GETTING THE SURGERY FOR THE RIGHT REASONS AND THAT I UNDERSTOOD THAT WITH THE SURGERY CAME CERTAIN RESPONSIBLITIES. AT THAT TIME IS WHEN I REALIZED THAT THIS WAS NOT JUST ANOTHER DOCTOR LOOKING AT $50,000 BUT SOMEONE WHO WAS GENUINELY CONCERNED WITH HIS PATIENT.

Dr. Hannon proves to be a great surgeon and doctor every time that I see him! He explained all the risk of the surgery! The office staff is very nice and polite! Dr. Hannon is great and I would recommend him to anyone that is thinking about this surgery!
