The office staff was very helpful and the surgeons very knowledgeable and spending all the time needed to answer every question and educate on the procedure and the recovery.

Please share any comments about the seminar/support group, your aftercare or any subject you would like to mention: The aftercare was thorough and attentive. The support group was helpful and answered many questions.

Would you recommend obesity surgery to a friend or family member and why?
I would not recommend it because it is a very personal decision. I would share my experience but I would not want to influence anyone.

Any comments that you would like to share with those that are considering obesity surgery?
If all goes well, it will transform your life . I wish I would have had it done 10 years ago.

Everyone has been helpful and kept in touch with me throughout the process.

Severely!

Talk to a surgeon and weigh the balances of each surgery. It is worth it for the rest of your life.

The office staff and the surgeons are wonderful. They see a lot of people but when they talk to you, you feel it is only you. I would rather have an experienced surgeon over a good bedside manner. well, with both Dr. Kaniewski and Dr. Sabharwal you have the best of both worlds. Excellent doctor's and great bedside manner.

Please share any comments about the seminar/support group, your aftercare or any subject you would like to mention: They believe in aftercare. The seminar was very informative. They did not rush you, answered all questions. The support group is great. I enjoy coming to them. I learn something every month.

Would you recommend obesity surgery to a friend or family member and why?
Yes I would recommend weight loss surgery. yes it does have risk but every surgery has its risks. I thought I would be overweight all my life. Now I don't. I can walk without getting out of breath. I am now able to go on the rides in amusement parks. Wow, does it feel good.

Any comments that you would like to share with those that are considering obesity surgery?
If you’re morbidly obese, this is the best answer to our prayers. It is not the easy way out. it's very hard, but now you have a tool to help you out. All the compliments are wonderful.

Doctors are very responsive, great "bedside manner". Made me feel like I was always a priority when I called the office. Very satisfied with the office staff as well.

Please share any comments about the seminar/support group, your aftercare or any subject you would like to mention: Support group meetings are very helpful and are held conveniently on Saturdays.

Would you recommend obesity surgery to a friend or family member and why?
I think it needs to be a personal choice; However If I was asked my opinion I would absolutely recommend it. My life changed dramatically - I am a much healthier and happier person.

Any comments that you would like to share with those that are considering obesity surgery?
I never experienced any pain - uncomfortable for a while after the surgery but not pain.

My experience with the surgeons has been great. They understand what you are going through. The thing I appreciated the most was they did not make you ashamed for being overweight. They just focused on how to help.

Would you recommend obesity surgery to a friend or family member and why?
I would recommend the surgery. However I would also encourage them to research it on their own. It is a complete life style change, if you are not prepared or do not have the proper support afterwards it will be very difficult. Your issues with food before the surgery do not magically disappear afterwards.

Any comments that you would like to share with those that are considering obesity surgery?
Research and prepare. Deal with the mental issues. The surgery solves the physical concerns, but if you do not have support recovery will be difficult.

The doctors and staff were very helpful and encouraging. They took care of everything related to the insurance. The surgery was difficult but the aftercare has been excellent.

Please share any comments about the seminar/support group, your aftercare or any subject you would like to mention: The support group was very good and many questions are answered during these sessions.

I would not recommend it because it is such a personal choice for each individual. If someone wanted to speak with me about the surgery, I would gladly share my experience.

Any comments that you would like to share with those that are considering obesity surgery?
There is nothing to fear, and only a better life on the other side.

I found the office staff to be very helpful. Whenever l had a problem about something they have been good about calling back. The doctors have been excellent. They take time with me and answer all my concerns.

I recommend anyone thinking about surgery to come to as many seminars as possible in advance. I learned something new each time. Questions were asked that I didn't think of, and were answered to everyone's satisfaction.

Yes, I would recommend this surgery to people because my health has improved immensely and now I look at obese people and send up a prayer hoping they will do something before it is too late.

Any comments that you would like to share with those that are considering obesity surgery?
The more educated you become with this surgery the less fearful you will be. Follow what the doctors tell you and you will be amazed and wonder why you waited so long.

Yes. A friend had it and really encouraged me!

Go for it - It can change your life! The doctors are very good and care about you!

Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend this surgeon to anyone, including my own family and friends.

Surgeons great! I had to keep up with lab and test results to get them to the surgeons files, so they could determine what surgery would be best for me - I was not sure. William is great. He should get a raise!

Please share any comments about the seminar/support group, your aftercare or any subject you would like to mention: I've been to the support group twice. Once when I was looking and once after surgery. There is so much information on the net that when I got to the support group - I wanted to know about what foods to eat.

Strongly recommend if ailments are weight related.

Read, read, and read. Go to support groups. It is worth your life.
