A very warm man and seems to really care about his pts and their continued success. My impressions of him have only gotten more favorable as time has gone by. Very easy to talk to and always willing to listen. His staff is pleasant and very well trained in what they do. I like everything about Dr. Broussard and his staff at Weight Wise. Be ready to hear it straight and be ready to work hard, because he will tell you this is just a tool, it is now on us as pts to do the work. He emphasizes aftercare bunches, I haven't had surgery yet and I am completely aware of what to expect after surgery and a large part of that is his excellent staff. I can not say enough about Chris C. my dietitian and the exercise physiologist there at weight wise, they are soooo... helpful and knowledgeable about what I am going through. I cannot leave out the ladies at the front desk they are even so helpful and easy to talk to, those ladies make everyones lives a little easier, beacause we are all so busy and they will find a way to get you in. I would rate Dr. Broussard and the Weight Wise team as a 10/10 could not ask for a better group of professionals to help me navigate through this maze of insurance companies and weight loss challenges.
I am three days away from weight loss surgery with Dr. Greg Walton, in Edmond, Oklahoma. I heard about WeightWise from a friend that was very pleased with her results. I had gone to a seminar given by another weight loss surgeon, and was very impressed with the seminar that Dr. Walton presented. He was very down to earth and straight talking, but provided much more information than the other doctor did.rnrnI live 4 hours away from WeightWise Bariatrics Clinic, and everyone envolved was very helpful in making each visit count. I was able to see everyone I needed to see in a short period of time, and then be on my way.rnrnEveryone at the doctor's office seems to be very dedicated to their patients. Dr. Walton has answered emails and his patient advocate, Brandy, has called us more than once late in the evening with information. The dietitian has been very helpful. They have an inhouse fitness expert that has helped me with my weight loss prior to surgery, and is set up to help me excercize to my maximum potential for greater weight loss. The inhouse phycologist was helpful when we spoke, and I look forward to talking with him more in the future.rnrnI am very excited about moving forward with my weight loss journey and feel good about everyone in Dr. Walton's office being there to help me along the way.rnrnMy only negative feelings are that the clinic is so far from my home, but you can't have everything. After speaking with other weight loss doctors and offices, it is worth the extra time and miles.
I was impressed with his no nonsense style right from the start. He told us how his program works, and that we were expected to fit the program not the other way around. I was so excited that I actually met HIM the first appointment I had. He didn't rush me and answered all of my questions. The office staff is so kind, and very supportive. I remember telling my mom, \"this place is like a well oiled machine.\" I would recommend Dr. Walton to anyone in the Oklahoma area. My patient advocate was so kind and helpful, I feel very comfortable with her! Aftercare is a huge part of his program. At weight wise they emphasize the wholistic approach. I have a dietician, phych, exercise physiologist, the works. Every aspect of my life is addressed.
I first met Dr. B at a Weightwise seminar on 6/6. I thought he was very professional, talked a lot, but VERY intelligent and PASSIONATE about what he does. That is so important to me. In order to do a great job, you have to love what you do.
I had my surgery with Dr. B on 9/2/2009. Everything went absolutely wonderful. Not a single complication! Dr. B and his staff were and still are AMAZING. They are very structured, but very supportive and will help you every step of the way. He was very thorough and answered any and every question I have had. He is a great surgeon and a great guy! I completely trust being in his hands!
Dr. Broussard explained everything in a way that we could understand and not in Medical terms. Dr.Broussard was very kind and very informative and let us ask all the questions we needed to ask after the seminar was over.
Glad that I was referred to Him. I really think I am in good hands.
His staff was very nice and answered all my questions. Made me feel very comfortable.
I had no complaints at all. Dr. Broussard is Great at his job and I totally trust him.
He is very informative, if you have a question just ask he will help you in any way he can.

My first appt with Dr. Walton was wonderful, the office staff and everyone was so understanding and caring. You are not judged or treated as cattle during your visits! I am on a program after surgery now and am being successful so far! I cannot wait for the results! Thank you Dr. Walton!
The initial seminar with Weightwise was extremely informative and detailed the risks and rewards of surgery. I had attended a seminar at another local hospital but this was the better one. I left the seminar with the realization that this is a life changing surgery and so much of the success depends upon me. I also left with the impression that I would have a team of experienced professionals behind me each step of the journey. rnrnI later met with Dr Broussard who seemed to be very caring, approachable and knowledgeable. I am in the middle of completing my pre-surgery stuff. I need a sleep lab, lab work and stress test. More to come after I complete those tasks.rnrn
DR. WALTON IS A VERY DOWN TO EARTH, PERSONABLE,DOCTOR. AFTER 8 VISITS OR SO,I TRUST HIM AND HIS STAFF WITH MY SON'S LIFE.I BELIEVE THE RISKS AND AFTER CARE HAVE BEEN EMPHASIZED WELL. OVERALL SO FAR I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE ENTIRE PROCESS. BEDSIDE MANNER BEFORE AND AFTER IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT TO FEELING YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS IN THE SURGEONS OPERATING ROOM IN MY OPINION.
THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I CAN SAY AT THIS TIME IS THE DOLLAR COST IS VERY HIGH. BUT THE COST OF STAYING AT THIS HIGH WEIGHT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TOO. MAYBE WHAT I REALLY MEAN IS THE COST OF MY HEALTH CARE INSURANCE IS TOO HIGH TO NOT BE HELPING WITH SUCH A HEALTH IMPROVING SURGERY.
He was very much eager to help. I then felt like I wasn't getting the surgery quick enough after I lost the weight. I guess that is because I am going through insurance. It probably isn't his fault. His staff is awesome. They have been very helpful, very polite, and very comforting.
He is very willing to help out whenever possible. It is very important to him to emphasize the need to have an aftercare program. If not you will have more problems or not loose as much weight. He has a very good structured program in place for aftercare. He would have to go over it with the patient because there are too many things to list.
He explained all the risks of each surgery.
I would rate him good.
Bedside manner is pretty good.
