WeightWise Bariatric Program Bariatric Center
My first impression was a great one. At the seminar I felt like I was well informed of the procedures and risks which helped me be more comfortable in making my decision. rnrnHe did not sugar-coat the process and help me understand that this will take a lot of hard work on my part. rnrnI like that the emphasis on after care is so important to him. I think for me and any other person considering surgery it is good to know that you won't be left hanging after such a life changing surgery.rnrnThe staff at the clinic are all very supportive! When they say they will be there for the patient they mean it! I've had lots of questions and everything has been answered in a timely manner! I give an excellent rating!
Dr. Walton is very friendly and personable. My first impression of him was very favorable. The office staff is also very friendly and personable. Dr. Walton and his staff stress much importance on aftercare and gave me dates for revisits upon hospital discharge. Their programs are very structured. I went to a seminar prior to surgery re: risks. Then again, prior to surgery, I was visited with and also read the risks involved. Dr. Walton is rated highly among the community and I would not hesitate to give out referrals on him. Both surgical competence and bedside manner were great! ~ Barbara Canter
What a blessing Dr. Broussard has been. His positive attitude mixed with a balance of reality has played a huge role in my success. He, the Foundation Bariatric Clinic staff, and my special accessory-the lapband, have been so instrumental in my success. He appears genuinely concerned about my physical and emotional well being. He has been honest about my part and what I must do to beat my obesity. He and the staff have been readily available. I am 2 years post-op and my opinion of Dr. B hasn't changed. I always felt happy before I met Dr. Broussard and had my lapband. But, now I am really too happy for words. Gayla
Dr. Broussard appears to be very knowledgeable not only in all the medical aspects of the weight loss surgeries but also in the insurance areas. This is the third different seminar that I have been to in the Oklahoma City area and this one was the most organized, by far, and contained the most information about the procedure as a whole. Also having a person who previously had a procedure done was very helpful. Staff and doctor seem very caring, helpful, and organized.
I finally feel like this will happen for me. I gave up on the insurance and am going to pay for it myself with a little help from the bank. I attended the seminar on June, 27/09. I left feeling very well informed and very cared for. All the people there, Dr. Broussard included made me feel comfortable and like someone who deserves to be helped and taken care of. As heavy people we are so often over looked or ignored, not spoken to directly, people avert their eyes etc. Inever felt any of this. They seemed to feel my pain and truly wanted to help! I have found my answer with these people!
Very straight forward talking man. He tells you like it is. He makes you think and rethink whether you are ready to do this. The office staff is friendly although a tad unorganized when it came to my case. he is a very caring man and the whole office seems to care that you are there. They have a very structured program that I feel will help me have success.
My first impression of Dr. Broussard was that he was very informative and caring. He seems really nice. So far my impression is still the same. His office staff is really helpful and nice. He really really really emphasizes aftercare and its importance. The risks of surgery were definitely addressed also the risks of not having the surgery. On a scale of 1 to 10, so far I would give him a 10. Both surgical competence and bedside manner are great and very important.
Dr. Broussard and his office staff are angels. From the very first time I met them at the seminar they were awesome. They help me prepare for surgery in many ways like encouraging pre surgery weight loss, exercise, and diets before and after surgery. THis hospital and everyone involved are lifesavers.
I first met Doctor Walton at a seminar and was very impressed with his knowledge and his honesty about the different surgeries offered and their advantages and limitations.rnrnI was also surprised that with Dr. Walton it isn't enough to just show up for surgery. I had other friends who had weight loss surgery and weren't required to do any of the medical test Dr. Walton required. We all had the same insurance so it had nothing to do with insurance either. rnrnI have had to have all kinds of test prior to surgery and found out I did indeed have sleep apnea which I never considered I had prior to the sleep study test. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Walton will have as much medical history on me as possible and know exactly what we are dealing with prior to surgery. This makes me feel even better about Dr. Walton. Besides which it makes me an active participant not just a patient.rnrnNeedless to say I am extremely impressed with Doctor Walton. I love the clinic and all the staff.rnrn
