My first impression was that it was a life-changing operation. I'm beginning to gain some of my self-confidence back, I'm walking better and I have more energy. I'm 6 months post op now and I'm feeling ecstatic. I have to keep changing my wardrobe every so often. I have lost 101 pounds so far! I would highly recommend this type of procedure to anyone. When I looked him up and saw that he had 17 years of experience, I chose him. Now post op, I'm finding out that everything he told me that would happen is happening. He is very knowledgable and I think he is an asset to the medical profession.

My fist impression of Dr.F was that he was an amazing man who truely cared about his patients. The staff was extremely helpful with getting all my paper work together and answering any questions that I had. The staff really takes care of you, and don't let you worry about a thing. One year ago is when i had my surgery, and I wouldn't change a thing about. Before I was a shy girl who was hiding behind her weight and now i'm actually getting to know who I am. My self confidence has boosted, and I feel like a brand new person who has another chance at a life I never thought I could have.

When I first met Dr. Frantzides I immediately fell in love with him. He was so friendly and very very cordial. His staff was just as great. Everyone was very professional, personable, and attentive. Pre-op and post op were just amazing. I had no problems. Everyone, again, was very thoughtful, kind, and considerate to my needs. When I had a problem at home I was able to call and get an immediate answer, which really relieved my concerns. I know this is going to sound crazy, but I keep telling my family that when I wake up I just know I'm going to be dead. I just can't believe how great I feel. I have not been able to walk without pain, but now I am able to do more walking. Since surgery, I feel that my whole body has gone through a complete transformation. Every step of the way, whatever the doctor and his staff has related to me has come true as far as the pain level and the improvement in my comorbidities. I am so sorry that I did not do this a long time before. If I would have known everything would go as smoothly as it has, I would have. I would highly recommend it to someone who is and was as leery as I. I would highly recommend surgery, especially with Dr. Frantzides and his staff.

I had a open gastric bypass by another surgeon 3 years ago that although seemed to work, (lost 100 lbs) I reached a plateau and didn't lose any more weight (although I still have 80lbs to lose). I developed an incisional hernia from that surgery, and I was referred to Dr. Frantzides by his former patients to have the hernia fixed. Also, from testing that was done, I discovered that my gastric pouch was enlarged. He recommended that I have laparoscopic repair of the hernia, and revise the gastric bypass. I was very comfortable with Dr. Frantzides and his knowledge of surgery. He performed my hernia repair and made my pouch smaller laparoscopically, which I am sure was more difficult since I had previous surgery. I, and many people I know were amazed that I went home the next day. The ask me all the time \"Are you sure you just had surgery??!!\" The office staff are very warm and friendly. I am very happy that I chose Dr. Frantzides! I'm currently 8 days post surgery, I feel great and am very pleased with my post operative recooperation. I would recommend Dr. Frantzides to anyone that needs or wants surgery, wants the best surgeon, and wants to recooperate quickly!

I had laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Frantzides 14 months ago. Before surgery I was very depressed because I was so big that I couldn't buy clothes from a regular clothing store, and I did not feel attractive. Since then I have lost 108 lbs and I feel amazing. Since I have lost weight, my life has changed completely. I now volunteer at an assisted living facility, I swim at the YMCA, I walk a mile 3-4 x per week and lift weights. It may seem like a small thing, but I am now able to wear a pair of jeans, I can actually cross my legs and sit in an airplane seat without my body taking up half of the seat of the passenger next to me. Dr. Frantzides has completely changed my life and I am greatful to him. I am 58 and had the surgery done, and people are so amazed at my metamorphasis, it makes me feel wonderful to have some many complements on a daily basis! If anyone is thinking of having surgery with Dr. Frantzides, I would like them to know that not only I, but my daughter have had surgery with him, and he is absolutely the best. He and his staff made me feel very special, and I highly recommend him. If necessary, I would have changed insurances companies to have surgery with him. No one should have to settle for second best if they should need surgery.

I am one year postop and I am 100 lbs. down. I am wearing things that I thought I could never wear in public and get away with. My eating and exercise habits have changed drastically. My confidence and energy are up as well as a giant increase in my dating selection. Dr. Frantzides has supported me through my weight loss surgery and anytime I had a question or I just needed to talk, Dr. Frantzides and his staff was here for me. Dr. Frantzides and his crew gave me the gift of a lifetime and a new adventure in my new body.

My first impression of Dr. Frantzides is that he is a very friendly man. He is very professional, and he lifts your spirits. I had the lap band surgery done, and even though I have diabetes and trouble getting around sometimes, I went home the very next day. When I was having my preoperative tests done, all the other physicians said that Dr. Frantzides was the best. My incisions look like little scratches. I would like other patients to know that he gives you hope that you will get better, and he makes you feel very comfortable by explaining every aspect of surgery in great detail. And if patients decide to have surgery done with Dr. Frantzides, they will never be sorry.

The first impression i got when i first saw Dr. Frantzides was that he looked like my father, and that scared me at first, because there was such a resemblence... As time went on i was still scared of the whole doctor thing, but after seeing Frantzides for the second time, there was less tension and more smiling... The office staff is nice, i dont know to many of the staff members, just a few....There is nothing much i could say about not liking Dr. Frantzides because to me, he helped me, therefore, I love him!!.. Future patients should know that the whole process of the surgery and meeting with doctors might be scary at first, but it is really not a big deal. The emphasization on aftercare that i was told should be really strong, and not to just let go. I believe Dr. Frantzides does have a structured aftercare program, but im not to familiar with it. Dr. Frantzides addressed all the risks of the surgery, but i had knew about them, because i had done my own little research.... If i could rate Dr. Frantzides between 1- 10, he would be rated at 12+. I have never done any kind of surgery, and nobody was as scared as i was, in the beginning...but i felt so comfortable and didnt even want to do the surgery at first, but in the outcome everything was fine.... As for surgical competence and bedside manner they both were good....

My first impression of Dr Frantzides was that he was confident in what he did and that was perform gastric bypass surgery. The staff is very nice. He can be a little arrogant but he knows his stuff. We have meetings once a month and lots of emphasis is placed on before and after care of the surgery. Overall, I would rate him as a very good surgeon for the laprscopic RYGB surgery. His hands are as soft as a babies bottom.

I'm 20 months post op and I'm almost 200 pounds down. Dr. Frantzides has given me my life back! I can do everything I've ever wanted! I'm 2 weeks post op from having my tummy tuck with Dr. Frantzides and my tummy is just as I imagined it! I have had no pain from the time I woke up and 2 weeks later I'm going to start exercising as normal. I have a beautiful shape and a lovely figure. Dr. Frantzides has a true talent in body sculpting and he's given me my self-esteem back! His sense of humor during office visits eases your nerves.
