I am very amazed at the outcome of what happened. I am pleasantly surprised and I was sure of what was going to happen because both my daughters had surgery before me with Dr. Frantzides. I was sure that Dr. Frantzides was a very capable man and he walks on water. Almost all of what he has told me has come true so far. I would recommend him to anybody. It cured more than one of my co-morbidities after just a month. I had congestive heart failure and I stopped taking 3 pills for that within just a month. I look forward to stopping 4 more. I also had a bad bruise that would not clear up from water retention and it's compltely healed! My ankles and feet, which were like balloons don't swell anymore, either! My breathing has improved, my snoring has disappeared, and its too early to add anything more, but I feel that I will continue to feel better. The surgery has given me a lot of hope that I will have a better future and it has made me feel younger! I anticipate golfing again!

My experience has been very good. Dr. Frantzides has been very thorough and thoughtful. He always took time to answer any of my questions. I was on the road to recovery very quickly. I also didn't expect to have dropped 30 pounds already. I am very excited about my progress!

I researched Dr Frantzides regarding his laparoscopic experience and procedures for myelf and my sister. I was impressed with his experience and low post op complications so I made appiontments for both of us. I liked Dr Frantzides and his staff immediately. He is very smart and personable with a great sense of humor. He helped us sort out what was important and his administartive staff talked about the insurance issues and paper work. I knew exactly how much work I had ahead of me for preoperative testing and evaluations. He and the staff did talk alot about aftercare and I was made aware of the immediate post operative phase.rnHe is very thorough about explaining risks. 10 days post op and back to work and familty I will rate Dr. Franzcides as a 10+.rnExperience, competence, bedside manor, staff, support, and aftercare are all 10+ and I have nothing negative to say about my experience. Update: At one year post-surgery I have a ton of energy. In the beginning, after surgery, I didn't exercise as much as I would have liked to and now I do 5-6 times a week. I do not feel any restrictions at all regarding food; of course portions are small, but I can eat everything. I still have some weight to lose, but feel confident that it will come off by increasing my protein. My advice to anyone considering surgery would be that if you're thinking about doing it, just do it! This is the best thing I've ever done! And, Dr. Frantzides is really cute!!

I came to Dr. Frantzides originally to have my lap band removed and I was considering RNY. Dr. Frantzides instilled a lot of confidence in me that he could not only take care of the band laproscopically, but also convert to an RNY at the same time laparoscopically. Surgery was more complicated than he thought it would be due to adhesions from previous surgeries, but he was able to do it and I feel great! I would highly recommend him. The whole office staff is wonderful and accessible.

Dr. Frantzides is a very busy man. The office is buzzing with old clients (coming in for follow up appointments) and new clients. But as busy as it gets, everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat. The doctor is extremely intelligent and has won many awards and received much publicity for his research in the field of gastric bypass. He is definitely an amazingly experienced and highly professional doctor who knows what he's doing. Plus Dr. Frantzides works with 4-5 star hospitals so you know that when you go in for surgery, you're in a good safe place. Bring ALL of your questions to the doctor because he and his team can answer everything. In terms of competence, bedside manner, and precision of skill - he is the best doctor around. And don't just take my word for it. During my pre-op tests, every doctor I visited raved about Dr. Frantzides. Every single doctor had not only heard of him, but used words like \"excellent\" and \"genius\" when describing him. This is what you should be looking for when you're about to have major surgery. I would recommend him to anyone considering gastric bypass, but I would also remind you to do your homework when it comes to post-op nutrition.

It has been 3 months since I had the surgery and I have lost 100 pounds! I feel great and am looking so much better. I just had my 3 month check up with Dr. Frantzides and he has cleared me to work out as much as I want. I have been working out about 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week. I will now start to run and lift weights. I am 157 pounds from my goal weight and thanks to having surgery and the expert care of my doctor and his staff I will continue on this path. I will check back in 3 months from today.

Dr. Frantzides was a fabulous surgeon. He took the time to explain every aspect of the surgery and post surgerical expectations with me. He has a terrific bedside manner on top of his numerous years of experience doing this type of surgery. Dr. Frantzides office staff was also available to answer questions and help with insurance matters. I give the entire group an outstanding rating. It has been one year since my surgery and I have lost 120 pounds. I feel more energetic and confident about myself. The most important outcome is that I am healthier and am able to do things that I was not able to accomplish before. Dr. Frantzides and his staff continued to be supportive of my ongoing progress and extend a willingness to help with any future aftercare needs.

When I first met him I thought he was amazing. There is nothing I would change about him. He is a doctor who cares about his patients. Everything is all about you and he does the job right. Before my surgery I felt disgusting about myself and he explained everything about the surgery and I was ,at first hesitant, but after talking to him I felt like it was the right decision. Now 1 year post op I'm feeling amazing and I wish I would have done it sooner, but I'm glad I didn't wait longer that I did. His team is awesome. Anything I needed I felt that I could come to them. First of all, let me just say that Dr. Frantzides is the best dressed doctor I have ever seen and I think that says a lot about his meticulousness and perfection in the operating room. My experience with Dr. F and his staff was top notch. Not only did I have a totally laparoscopic RNY, but at my one year surgery anniversary he removed all my skin and my tummy hasn't looked this good since i was a teenager!! Dr. F and his team are there for you 100% from the start whenever I had a question about the surgery, pre-op care, post-op care, the crazy insurance process, or billing, someone always got back to me right away. And whenever I needed an appointment, even if the day looked hectic, they would fit me in since they knew I was making a long trip to get there. I met with other surgeons before Dr. F and I can tell you that not one of them even came close to the professionalism, personality, and experience of Dr. F and his team (and none of them have his smile, either!). I would highly recommend Dr. Frantzides for WLS or any other laparoscopic surgery. As far as I'm concerned, there is nobody else in the world who compares to him.

When I decided to pursuse WLS I read hundreds of doctor and clinic brochure and profiles. When I saw Dr Frantizides information and met him in person, I knew that this procedure was the right choice for me and that I'd allow nobody else to perform it. rnrnDr F and his team are delightful - Jerry, Cynthia, Lesley (who was 1000% there for my thousands of ongoing questions) and Dr Laguna who is so calming and wonderful. rnrnKnow they take their time with every patient and as a result, often run behind schedule - take a book and dont worry because the wait is worth it.rnrnThey addressed every aspect of surgery, have a very structured program and at all times made me feel that it was all about me, I never felt processed or like one of their many patients. It was a very personalized and enjoyable experience. And yes, I say this about surgery!rnrnI cant say enough about this team and I'd highly recommend Dr Frantizides.rnrnUPDATE: today is my one year surgivesary, I am -90 and have a whole new life. My confidence, energy and passion for life have all reached new highs. I have absolutely no regrets and know this was one of the biggest and best decisions I ever made.
