I thought Dr Clark was very nice.
it hasnt changed
His office staff is wonerful they have been so nice everytime I call tey say call anytime no problem thats what we are here for
so far i like everything.
if your thinking about the surgery go ahead and start the procedure because it takes a while
aoly after care is a lifelong relation with your surgeon
there after care is thout through by him and his office manager and is very detailed and if you need anything they are all but a call away
Dr. Clark is a soft spoken man and made me feel very comfortable about my decision for WLS. When I first meet him at the seminar I was very impressed with the fact he would tell you good or bad. What ever question was asked he was willing to answer. I am not sure what ever sparked him into concentrating his practice on this type of surgery but We here in Newport News area and surrounding areas are VERY THANKFUL to have him within our reaches. He appears to have a vast knowledge of the subject and surgery. He helps the patient in many efforts to also have the best information. The informative manual that is given is very helpful. I think his office staff is very enthustiactic in the surgical procedure steps for each patient.
When he visited you in your room he made you feel comfortable, available to answer any questions, and NOT in a hurry to stop and run. Not ONE single staff member seems to frown they all seem to have smiles... EVEN The day before HURRICANE ISABEL was due to arrive. A big Thanks to Dr Clark and to his staff as well.
Dr Reese was a good listener, very well informed and did not push me into making a decision towards having surgery.
I attended the Seminar offered by Dr. Clark ans his staff in July. I found it to be very informative. Dr. Clark took the time to answer any and all questions that were addressed to him.
The office staff is a huge asset to his practice. They were instrumental in making my decision to choose Dr. Clark as my surgeon.
Future patients should know that it does take time and patience to complete all the tasks that are required prior to receiving a surgery date. This can be a good thing,as it gives you more time learn all you can about this life changing event.
What I liked about Dr. Clark's approach is that he gives you some helpful pre- procedure tips.1)Establish an exercise program 2)Begin to cut back on sugars and fats 3)Take a daily vitamin,so that you will establish the habit prior to surgery.
I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Clark and his staff. I am due for surgery on August 25th. I went for a one on one visit with him yesterday and he spent all the time I needed answering all of my questions no matter how dumb they might have sounded. He made me feel very comfortable and the education he and his staff give you on the surgery is the best I have ever encountered with any surgery I have ever had. I took my Mother with me to all of the visits and she was equally impressed with him. Dr. Clark's staff has been wonderful so far and I have enjoyed meeting and dealing with each of them. From the first time I called there they have just treated me like family. Dr. Reese the psychologist, and Tracie the nutritionist are also great. I am totally satisfied with everything about Dr. Clark and his wonderful staff.
When I first called the office at Dr. Thomas Clark's office, I felt his staff were very friendly and attentive to my questions. I can't wait to meet Dr. Clark and his staff.
August 12, 2003; I went to Dr. Clark's seminar today and I can say the seminar was very informative. I finally got the opportunity to meet Dr. Clark and his staff and they were very warm and friendly towards me and the other people who were there attending the seminar. I can't wait to attend my behavioral assessment on August 27th.
Dr. Clark was eager to discuss, in detail, the surgery procedure. and to calm any fears or misinformation I may have had about the procedure. The more we talked the better I felt about the entire journey. His office staff is a dream! They are super cordial and very well informed! What I like about Dr. Clark, well, he ain't bad on the eyes! ... LOL.. that's always helpful! His 'AfterCare' procedure seems very thorough with continued hands-on-approach and ready availability. About the risks, he never once skirted the truth. HE definitely mentioned the possiblilty of death. My overall rating of Dr. Clark is Handsome.. oops! I meant competent, experienced and knowledgable. A+
I went to a seminar at Dr. Clark's practice. He explained the surgery he does. I was/am a little nervous about it because it's totally different from what I was expecting. I had to switch from a military surgeon and RnY, to a civilian surgeon and a new surgery. I have heard/read/researched alot about Dr. Clark and it has been all good so far. His staff seemed very on the ball. I am fine with the choice I made and am confident that everything will be fine.
I'm post op now and I think Dr. Clark is great. His staff is great also. There was nothing I didn't like about them. They emphasize aftercare a lot. They have a structured aftercare program.
I rate Dr. Clark a 10 as far as I'm concerned. Great bedside manner, great competence.
He was very caring and did not minimize the risks of this surgery/my impression has not changed too much over time/ his office staff is very compassionate and professional/He emphasizes that aaftercare is so important and seem s to have a structured program/ he has great bedside manner and competence and also a little shy.
I think Dr. Clark is a life saver and he is wonderful. He changed my life by performing the surgery and gave me another chance. For hom and his wonderful staff. Thanks so much by giving me a great outlook and another chance at life.
