I am soooooo in love with the whole Team in Sachsenhausen Hospital. Even that I speak German I got to say that most of the hospital staff is speaking english and all Info books are in english . Prof. Weiner is a sweet Heart who is really really nice and always want the best for his patiens. At the end at the time of my stay he gave me a big hug and a kiss . Really cool.

I just had my first appointment with Prof Weiner. He was great took away any inhabitions I had and put me a ease. He listened to my concerns and has actually scheduled my surgery for just 5 weeks from now. I am going in on April 6th..... I would strongly recommend him as your surgeon.

Prof. Weiner was great from the first moment I met him. I was very happy with the way he talked to me and discussed my options and the surgery. He provided me with a booklet in English which had so much valuable information about the surgery, both pre and post op info, hospital stay info, eating and side effects.
Everyone on his staff is just as nice as they can be and really take care of you when you come in.
All the risks of the surgery were explained fully to me and my husband when I went for my consult and for my pre-op testing and again just before my surgery.
His competence as a surgeon and his bedside manner are very good and he is a very caring and concerned individual with your recovery and afterwards. I would rate him as one of the best and most professional and competent doctors I've ever dealt with.

Dr. Weiner , was very friendly, and still allowed my first appointment even though I was 2 hours late 'cause we got lost.

His office staff was very friendly, I just wish more of them spoke english.

He is a very gentle and caring doctor, he seems to really care about his patients. He hugged me three times the day I was leaving the hospital.

He stresses how important the aftercare is.

He answered all my questions.

A very good doctor, and very helpful and knowledgeable. (sp?)

Both are awesome!

I found Dr. Weiner to be warm and friendly. He automatically put my mind at ease. I had thought about getting the suregery over the past several years but never felt comfortable. While waiting for my appointment I spoke to several post surgical patients that wee all very pleased with the work Dr. Weiner and his staff had done. All risk were explained to me by the Dr. Weiners staff and by Tricare before I decided to go forward.

When I met Dr. Weiner I was put at ease he has the kindest face and a very warm smile. I have already met some of his post-ops and they raved about him. I am scheduled for surgery on the 13th of July and I am extremely excited to join a "losing" team!!!!!

I found Dr. Weiner to be a wonderful doctor. He's very caring and personable with each and every patient. His office staff was wonderful as well. Dr. Weiner as well as his staff completly covered all aspects of the surgery and any questions that I had before and after surgery. I would recommend him to everybody who's interested in this type of surgery.

Dr Weiner is a big teddy bear and an extremely gifted and experienced surgeon. His entire staff was remarkable. Not a bad apple in the bunch! He visited me each and everyday in the hospital and I could not have been more pleased with my care. There were a few occassions when I think we miscommunicated about the financial end of the stick but it eventually worked out. The aftercare in Germany is left up to the house doctor and that was pretty hard for me as I didn't really have one so my aftercare was left up to my doctor in Texas whom I see in the summer.

I was completely informed aobut all risks of the surgery and all my questions were patiently and professionally addressed by Dr. Weiner and his staff. Again I would rate the whole group as exceptional.

My first impression of Prof. Weiner was a warm and caring man. He and his staff spoke really good english which made the whole process even better. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
After the surgery he would come in and check on me twice a day and was welling to answer any questions I had. He was very thorough in everything he did. He really expects you to start walking after surgery and really emphasizes exercise to make this process successful.
Prof. Weiner lays it out on the table about the risk of having this surgery. As everyone knows going into any type of surgery can be dangerous. But I felt in really good hands with him.
I would give Prof. Weiner and his staff a "10" on a scale of 1- 10!! I had such a great experience in the hospital. The language barrier was not a problem for me even though I don't know a lick of German!!
