Dr. Burrowes is very professional and he will take as much time with you as need to answer any and all questions. The staff is great, the only thing I did not like was they would not give me a surgery date with the reference number from BCBS. I think that anyone that uses him will be in great hands. He is great and make sure you understand the risk of the surgery before he does the surgery.. Also he make you attend one of his support group meetings.. Because I am two hours away from Atlanta, I have to attend one of his and one down in my home town. Overall i rate him as a 9 being very honest and trustworthy..

My first impression was that he was a cut and dry professional who gives you the truth and nothing but the clinical, risk-factors, "this is MAJOR SURGERY" truth! I appreciated that for along with his professional, no-nonsense facet, his confidence in his ability convinced me that our (my wife had an equal say-so) choice was undoubtably the best one. He emphasized that this surgery comes with a lifestyle change and that I must accept those changes in order for this wonderous tool to be successfully utilized. Dr. Burrowes truly cares. Aftercare is stressed as well as followed up on during visits.

I found Doctor Burrowes to be a very nice man. Understanding. He was easy to talk to. His staff was professional. I liked that Dr. Burrowes did not try to make me feel bad about myself and my situation.

He has a very good support group that you are encouraged to attend before surgery. He has very good material to give you to read. Detailed after care information. He makes sure you understand everything and that all questions are answered.

Because at this point I haven't had the surgery I can't address bedside manner or surgical manner but my understanding from other patients who have had the surgery it is excellent.

I have now had the surgery and dealt more with the office staff. Dr. Burrowes continues to be very professional but he is so busy an office visit feels rushed. Also, I find his staff to be not very friendly, they were horrible to deal with over my disability insurance. NEVER return phone calls and I am not who called the office and bugged them. I would say the surgeon is great but the staff sucks.

Yes both the aftercare program doen't fit everyone. Because everybody body is diffience so you have to listen to it or get info. from others that has been thur what you are going thur.

He was a great surgeon and knew his business quite well. I did not like the hospital Atlanta Medical Center. He stresses the importance of attending the support groups before and after the surgery. I hate the long wait in his office, usually about 2 hours. Members of the support group called me everyday for 1 month after the surgery.

I would refer anyone to him!!

Our first impression of Dr. Burrowes was a good one. We found him very professional. On our first visit, he took his time explaining the options and procedures. He stressed the risk for complications in a calm manner and at the same time reassured us with his experience with other larger patients. Our impression did not change over time. Dr. Burrowes has been professional, responsive, caring and clearly a gifted surgeon.

His office staff gets a mixed review but overall nice. Aftercare is emphasized from the beginning.

Dr. burrowes was real nice, he made me feel very comfortable,he was informative about the surgery he had answered most of my questions befor I could even ask them.Iknow I have the best surgeon possible.The office staff are wonderful,they answer any questions you ask,they are freindly and very helpful.

My first impression of Dr. Burrowes is that he is very direct.I don't have a problem with that, because I tend to be also. He is a no nonsense kind of Dr. He explains to you exactly what you will have to go through with the surgery. He makes sure that you are aware that the surgery is a tool and is a dangerous procedure. His office staff is wonderful, each and everyone of the ladies are God sent. If you have any questions the are all welling to listen and help in anyway. I thank God for leading me to such a great surgeon and staff.
