Dr. Oliphant is an excellent surgeon. He treated me with respect and was as excited as I was for the surgery. He visited me twice a day in the hospital and even comes to support group when he can. He did an excellent job on my incision and controlled the pain well.
After I had the surgery everytime I see him he is still excited over my progress and is open for suggestions.
His nurse Ann is very nice and understanding and hasn't missed a support group yet.
He is a fantastic doctor and is very much into a strict program with a lot of good after care.

Dr. Oliphant is very honest and direct. I felt cared for by him. Once he'd made the decision to begin performing bariatric surgery here (he did them in Chicago), he personally saw that all necessary personnel had been trained in the varied aspects of obesity and wls, including the psychological aspects. I have no doubt I'll be treated with dignity and respect while I'm in the hospital. Good for Dr. O!

Dr. Rowitz was great. He spent a lot of time
going over the entire procedure and what I
could expect after surgery. He told me up
front of all the risks and possible
complications and he let me know that I would
be a patient for life. Dr. Rowitz nurse
(Debbie) was wonderful as well - they were
both very caring and never made me feel the
least bit embarrased by my weight.

I HAVE ONLY HAD ONE VISIT WITH HIM BUT HE WAS VERY NICE AND CONCERNED. HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND EXPLAINED THINGS IN GREAT DETAIL AND IN EASY TO UNDERSTAND LANGUAGE. HIS STAFF WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. HE GAVE ALL THE BENEFITS AS WELL AS THE RISKS OF THE SURGERY. HE HAS A SUPPORT GROUP THAT MEETS ONCE A MONTH AND TOLD ME THAT I WOULD BE HIS PATIENT FOR LIFE.

HE SEEMS TO BE A VERY NICE MAN. HE WAS OVERWEIGHT HIMSELF, BUT LOST ALOT WITHOUT SURGERY. I WISH HE HAD HAD THE PROCEDURE HIMSELF.
OFFICE STAFF NOT VERY FRIENDLY AT 1ST VISIT.
HE EMPHASIZED THAT AFTERCARE WAS A LIFELONG PROCESS.
