Dr. Jones has a wonderfull sense of humor. He is real, he understands and can relate. He refrains from judgement. He gives you all the time you need. I have not felt rushed by anyone of his staff, or by him. Beth Israel is a wonderful location. The program is well structured and information is provided well in advance. I highly recommend both him and his team. I will post an update after surgery.
My surgeon was Dr. Daniel Jones at Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston. He is fantastic. He tells it like it is, explains all that is involved and what you can expect as well as complications that you might encounter. And, when I did experience complications, he was very responsive and took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood what was happening. He was very attentive and beyond competent and those qualities went a long way toward keeping me calm and feeling safe so I could focus on my recovery. He is not only highly skilled, but is also very caring and compassionate. You would be hard pressed to find a better surgeon to help you through this life altering procedure and aftercare process. Any problems that I have encountered, he has made himself available immediately. Based on my experience with him, he is outstanding in both surgical competence and bedside manner!
I highly recommend Dr. Jones. He is upfront, holds no punches, and tells it like it is. If you want someone to \"sugar-coat\" this procedure, look elswhere. rnrnHe is a great surgeon and his record proves it!
Dr. Jone's is the best I am so glad that he was my surgeon. I am very thankful to have had my orginal choose of surgeons leave the practice and then to have chosen Dr. Jones.
My first impression of Dr. Jones was he was kind of young to be in such a high position. Soon realized he was very knowledgable and had a great sense of humor. I want to say the staff is absolutely AWESOME, they are the best, friendly, kind and ready to help you. I would definetely recommend.
1. To be honest my impression was that he was an average joe. He was a little chubby so he made me feel real comfotable. Fantastic bedside manner.rnrn2.Hasn't changed, he's still the man.rnrn3.He staff is just top shelf, the staff isn't staff their my family....rnrn4.He jokes sometimes are dry but he can still make you feel safe.rnrn5.That you just nedd to be real with youself and be completly honest with him. And expect to hear what you need to hear not what you want to hear.rnrn6.He can't strees it enough. He and his staff care bottom line.rnrn7.His aftercare program is basiclly based on his team and the commitment you are willing to put into it. He did the hard, the rest id up to you.rnrn8. I have nothing but rave reviews for Dr. Jones and the Baratric staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. I was so impressed by the people, the care, and the fact that they had a floor designated for Bariatric care. I hope that post surgery I receive the same treatment...I will let you guys know!rnDr. Jones was very professional and eager to preform my surgery, almost as eager as I was to have it. He explained the risks to me and made sure I understood. I would recommend Dr. Jones to anyone. Also they were prompt in getting an approval from my medical insurance, but I guess it didn't hurt that I work for that company...LOL
