Dr Warnock was great! He explained the surgery answered all my questions. He even drew a picture of the procedure and what he was going to do on the exam table paper. He explained that he does the open RNY and his success rate is very good. He takes photos of his patients before and after every post-op visit to record the progress. I felt comfortable with him. I did have to wait awhile for him but I would have waited all day! His staff was great too! I was able to schedule a surgery date within a week ( I needed it for work purposes)and she worked on the precert in the meantime. I'd say from inital visit to surgery day was about 2 months which is great! I would definitely reccommend him to anyone who is thinking about gastric bypass surgery.

I went to see my surgeon on Oct 9 2001. He was so nice. My husband was working so my sister, who is a nurse, went with me. It was nice to have a little support with me. Dr Warnock was so nice and caring. He was very informative. He told me about all the risks and benefits that come with the surgery. He let me know what to expect at the hospital. I am really pleased with him. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had my first consultation with Dr. Warnock and was very pleased with the visit. I felt very comfortable talking with him as he clearly explained the procedure. He detailed the risks, what I could expect, as well as what he expected of me. My husband was very hesitant about the surgery until he met Dr. Warnock. We are both confident in him and look forward to a healthier life.

Dr. Kenneth Warnock was absolutely the most blessed angel I've ever met! Not only did he make me feel comforted by his grace, but he made me understand that my weight issues were illnesses instead of my lack of will power. My most wonderful memory of him was him waking me up from surgery with a kiss to the forehead-- which shows his true consideration as a HUMAN, instead of just a surgeon. He is more than a doctor, he is a friend.
Dr. Warnock is serious about his aftercare treatments and is devoted to them. YOU MUST DO WHAT HE SAYS! He wants nothing more to see that you lead a happy HEALTHY lifestyle after surgery, so you muct obey his rules. He's giving us our lives back, the least we could do is take our vitamins, walk, and drink water.
In a time where making a surgical decision about weightloss is the most frightening and drastic choices we can make, Dr. Warnock is the calm of the storm. I felt more than confident that I had made the right choice in doctors, and I was right! He is a wonderful, kind and Gracious man whom I adore.

I met with Dr. Warnock on September 13th. He was very nice, thorough.
I liked everyone excpet the nurse that checks you in; weight and height wise. She was not very FAT friendly and had no problem announcing outloud in the hall, my weight to my husband (and anyone else that was around).
Debbie was very nice and discussed dates with us.
Dr. Warnock was open and honest about the surgery risks; pros and cons. What he expects from his patient after surgery and for years to come.
Aftercare is very important with Dr. Warnock. I was given a folder of what to do afterwards. It covers what you should eat and excersize.
Dr. Warnock was very clear about the risks, even talked about death. I was a little shaken about that part.
As for now, I would rate Dr. Warnock way up there. He has a wonderful warm bedside manner and has been doing WLS for 20 + years.

Dr. Warnock is such a caring man. He explained everything and included the pros and the risks of having the surgery. I am glad I decided to see him for my surgery. His office staff was nice, I didn't really have alot of time with them but they were nice. Debbie is taking care of the insurance approval so I will pray that the insurance approves the surgery fairly quickly. I do not have anything negative to say about Dr. Warnock. He really stresses aftercare and to attend support groups.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. WARNOCK IS JUST WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. HE IS VERY KIND AND EMPATHETIC WITH HIS PATIENTS. BUT HE EXPECTS YOU TO EXPECT THE BEST FOR YOU. HIS STAFF IS VERY NICE BUT VERY UNDERSTAFFED. THEY SEEM VERY SWAMPED TO SAY THE LEAST...BUT THEY NEVER RUSH YOU. THEY ONLY THING I DID NOT LIKE ABOUT DR. WARNOCK OR HIS STAFF ACTUALLY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM IN A PERSONAL FASHION. IT WAS JUST THAT THE OFFICE COMPLES THAT HE WAS IN WAS SUPER CROWDED AND HECTIC...ICK!
BUT HE STRONGLY ENCOURAGES ALL PATIENTS AND EVEN FUTURE PATIENTS TO ATTEND PROGRAMS OFFERED AT THE HOSPITAL. IT DEALS WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THE W.L.S. HE IS VERY THOUROUGH AT GOING OVER THE WHOLE PROCEDURE AND MAKES NO BONES ABOUT THE RISKS...I WOULD GIVE DR. WARNOCK A 10 ON A SCALE OF 1-10. 10 BEING TOP KNOTCH FOR OVERALL ABILITY, KNOWLEDGE AND CAREING!

My husband and I were both impressed with Dr. Warnock on our first visit. He answered all of our questions and drew out exactly what would be done. I had already seen this in my research but was not too good at explaining it to my husband. He seems to feel like I've made the decision and he feels better about it since meeting with Dr. Warnock. His office staff is very nice. Debbie has been a little hard to reach but found out she caught the new bug going around. She also has not ever dealt with my insurance provider so I'm having anxiety attacks about that as they have the reputation of making you jump through hoops. It's too hot and I'm too fat to jump through too many hoops right now. I hope this moves along quickly.

I visited for the first time with Dr. Warnock last friday, 6-15-01. He is the most kind, considerate, and honest Dr. I believe I have ever met. I even look forward to having this surgery performed by him, without any hesitation. Dr. Warnock addressed both me and my husband as a team, not just me as a number in his bank account. He spoke of only the truth and consiquences of my procedure. I feel very confident in my decision.
His office staff made me feel as if I had been an ongoing patient of there's for years. They were very friendly and kind and willing to help at all times.
Overall, I believe I found the best Dr. to help me back on life.
8/18/2001: I've got a date!! 9/10/2001.
I want to thank Debbie for putting up with me calling her every day. I becam a pain in the tushy to myself, so I know I was one to her. But she always let me know what was going on. Thank you Debbie!!!

Surgery on July 13, one month has past lost 38 lb
Dr. Warnuck is very good. I had no pain to speak of
just some discoumfort.
I would recommend Dr. Warnuck to anyone. He is a little
fast on his follow up vists. Have questions ready
he will not be in your room long. No time to chat.
I left the hospital after 4 days. I first thought
4 days was a long time but you will need it.
I lost 15 lb the first week but all you have to eat
is IV's and ice chips.
I have to work hard to eat 850 cal per day, and with
the protien mix laced with strawberry syurp it is
not bad.
If you want to talk 918-786-7108 day, 918-786-4911 nights.
