My first impression was a good one. He's really compassionate to wards his patients.

His staff is great, and very helpful in helping with what they can and answering any and all questions.

He's done over 500 of these surgeries and will answer any and all questions that you have. He also takes his time with you and listens.

He really stresses the after care, it's critical that you do.

He does have an aftercare program.

He addressed the risks of the surgery very well. He stressed the importance of following everything that you are to do after the surgery.

Both would be appreciated.

Dr. Clark is an amazingly comfortable - easy on the eyes - informative doctor. His professionalism is exceptional and he made myself and others very relaxed during the group consultation. He answered all questions in a manner that we all could follow and understand. During the the personal one-on-one consultation he was great. Friendly, informative, relaxed, and professional. I'm looking forward to working with him and the staff at St Francis for my lapband proceedure. Nancy, by the way, is incredible and is also so helpful in getting you all the information your insurance will need before St Francis will file.

My first impression of Dr. Clark was that he was very kind with a good sense of humor. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions and addressed all risks involved. His office staff was very nice - especially Nancy who handles the insurance and has had bariatric surgery herself. Dr. Clark has very structured pre-op and postop care programs complete with dietitian, exercise physiologist, and counselor. So far, I give him an excellent rating and honestly don't have anything negative to say about either him or his office staff.

I have liked Dr. Clark since I have begun working with him. I am an X-ray tech at one of the hospitals that he is affiliated with, so have got to see how he treats patients and staff in surgery. He is great with everyone and very rarely loses his cool in surgery, plus he has never gotten cross with me or any of my other fellow x-ray techs, which that means a lot to me. I also have the opportunity to talk treat patients during their pre-op time for their UGI's and Chest X-rays, so I quiz them about what they like and dislike and problems they have had.

The St. Francis program is wonderful! They are big into pre and post care and treatment. This was not a easy decision for me to make. I have been seeing Dr. Eve Olson for almost 2 years and following her diet and going to Curves for exercise. The staff at St. Francis Weight Loss Center is great and they are all about the patient and getting them treated. There is a structured aftercare program and everything is outlined. I had heard about the "bible", but until I got one I had no clue what they were talking about! It is a great tool.

Dr. Clark takes his time and is willing to ask any and all questions. I guess I have an advantage, or maybe a disadvantage, because as a health care worker I probably see or know too much. I guess that is why it took me so long for me to come to terms that I needed surgery to help me.

I think both surgical competence and bedside manner matter greatly. I have seen both sides of Dr. Clark and know I have made the right choice of surgeon.

I was very fortunate to be Dr. Clark's first bariatric surgery. He was wonderful! I found so much support for both him and his staff. Dr. Clark took his time in preparing me for the surgery and advising me on the risks. The continued support after surgery helped me to accomplish my goal weight in less than a year. Thank you, Dr. Clark!!!

Dr Clark is professional and the staff at St Francis Weight Loss Center is fabulous. Dr Clark is knowledgable and he is human. He doesn't volunteer a whole lot of information....but he is open to questions and he answers them fully.

The program he is associated with has a resident dietians, physical fitness coordinators, counselors...they have a nice book they give you outlining what foods can be eaten and at what time frames.

They offer free monthly support group meetings as well as one-on-one meetings with the dietician or physical fitness trainer on a pay basis.

I have only met Dr. Clark twice. His bed sid e manner is great. He explains everything. the office staff is very supportive. Some of them have even already had the surgery. He emphasizes aftercare strongly. THe do have a structured aftercare program. He tells what the risks of surgery are. I would rate him on a scale of 1 to 10 a 9. this is because I have not had my surgery yet.
