DR NYE been wonderful, easy to talk to and very helpful.

My first impression of Dr Nye was that he seemed to really have alot of experience with this type of surgery. He has informed me of all the complications that comes with this surgery. HIs nurse/wife was very knowlegeable and helpful. The vist with Dr. Nye was pretty short. I have already met four people that have had this surgery with Dr. Nye. They are all pleased with him. He is very addiment about aftercare, I think that is very important.

I LOVED HIM AND HIS STAFF AND STILL DO THEY R GREAT!

My first impression of Dr. Nye is one of comfort. He's this gentle giant that has compassion and is extremely knoweagle to issues concering WLS surgery. He was very thorough in explaining the entire process. He took the time to answer all my questions as if I was his only patient...this made me feel great! It appeared he really cared about his patients.

The office staff were amazing. Each person was kind and patient and made you well welcome and at home versus uncomfortable.

05/02/04 - I see Dr. Nye tomorrow. He came very highly recommended by other people. I will post my impressions at that time. One thing I'm impressed by is that my initial appt was scheduled for the 10th of May, which to me was very quick. Then I was called back within hours to change my appointment to tomorrow (05/03/04). I'm very nervous with a ton of questions. I'll post tomorrow.

My first impression of Dr. Nye was that he was a very nice man. He made sure I knew all the information about the surgery. He was very easy to talk to. He makes sure that you understand what the wls is. He draws a picture of what they do, and he also explains it. He let me ask all the questions I had and he answered everyone of them. His staff is wonderful! They make sure that I know what is going on.

I wanted someone who had performed a good number of wls. Dr. Nye made me feel comfortable and safe. I have history of blood clots so I really want someone who knows what is going on!

Dr. Nye was great. My husband and I actually talked more with his nurse Rose, but I felt very comfortable with him in the time I spent with him. My husband was impressed with the number of surgeries he has done and the fact that he started the only Bariatric Center in our area.

he was great took time to answere all my question and even played with my childernand the staff was more than great and one thing i loved no long waiting period if your appt.is at 3:00 you will be in with the by doctor at least with in 15mins. only thing he really didn't tell me was about the diet he told me how much i would be able to intake but don't what i could and couldn't eat but i guess that's left to me to find out

My first impression of Dr. Nye was what a laid back guy. He's my kind of doctor. He shots straight from the hip, and tells you just how it is and no beating around the bush. My impreeion of him has only gotten better, even though I've move dto Hawaii I can still call him and ask questions about my bypass and they still help me. His staff is in my opinon is the best bunch of people ever put in one office. They are a team, One goal, one mind set,"Patient Care".

Future Patients should know he is the only doctor in Northwest fl. that I would let due this kind of surgery on them. when your his Patient your #1 and he puts 110% into your care.

In my opinon you can't really rate a doctor. But if you could rate a dr. on a 1 to 10 scale, Dr. Nye would be a 50. Dr. Nye is that Damn good. His bedside manner is second to know except to Dr. Brannon my old family doctor. They are both Gods to me. They both have save my life, and made it worth living. Ijust wish everyone could have had the luck I've had having the 2 best doctors in Pensacola.

First impression: Office staff was very well informed and thorough, Dr. Nye was warm and caring in a stand-offish kind of way, he is very methodical and contemplative and not overly gregarious.

Overtime: Dr. Nye and his office are the best at what they do. After surgery and in subsequent visits I was totally comfortable with them and felt supported and cared for by them. Dr. Nye in particular is very attentive and Rose doesn't let him forget anything, her memory is awesome.

His creation of the Bariatric Center for Excellence will only be an assest for patient care, follow-up and aftercare.
