I had heard good things about Dr. Nye before I made an appointment with him. My first impression of him was that he is a very competent, caring person. I felt very comfortable with him from the minute he walked into the room. Also felt very comfortable with Rose, his nurse. My first visit with him lasted about 1 1/2 hours. During this time he explain the different surgeries and what I could expect. I went in with about 5 pages of questions and he answered all of them to my satisfaction. He did not rush. He was very upfront about things, even so much as to tell me about a patient he had lost during the previous month. He has performed hundreds of these surgeries. I know that I will be in good hands with him (and with God as my Savior).
