I met with Dr. Singh for the first time in May of 2007. He was very matter of fact, and honest. Some people may be put off by his matter of fact manner, but I appreciated it. I think what I liked most about him is when he asked if I had questions, and I said \"I have a million!\" he told me to ask them...all! I didn't feel rushed (even though it was after 5) and he made sure I understood everything. I am excited to get to know him and his staff better during this process.

Dr. Singh was very professional and to the point. I have completed all the requirements of the program at Albany Med. My surgery date is July 11 pending approval from United Healthcare.

I met with Dr.Singh this afternoon to schedule my RNY surgery. I have found this program at Albany med to be top notch and the care and concern that you receive from everyone involved is second to none. I have heard so many nice things about him, and today his care and compassion validated it! His office staff has been extremely helpful! Dont expect him to sugar coat this very important decision- he tells you like it is and prepares you for the surgery.

Dr. Singh is great. He is very thorough and makes sure that you are aware of the positives and negatives associated with surgery. He makes certain that you are ready and know whats expected of you both before and after surgery. He has a way of setting your mind and nerves at ease the minute he starts speaking.

I think Dr. Singh is FANTASTIC. He is VERY thorough in his care for you and he makes sure you are REALLY ready for your surgery. If you are looking for a doctor to sugar coat this surgery and just let you breeze through then find another surgeon... Albany Medical Center's Bariatic Program is TOP notch in what they do and having you in the BEST shape before your surgery is what they insist on. You could not be in better hands! That is why they are a Center of Excellence!

I met with Dr. Singh on Tuesday and he scared me in a good way. He really took the time to tell me what I needed to hear about me, not necessarily the surgery. He kept explaining himself until he knew I got the message (I was a bit \"thick\" headed this day!)rnOffice staff is great so far, very friendly and pleasurable even though you know they are so super busy.

Dr. Singh is an excellent surgeon and a very caring person. He was always ready to answer any questions I had. After surgery, while still in the hospital, he came to see me every day to be sure everything was alright. If I had any concerns he was right on them. He has a schedule of aftercare visits to be followed when I go home.Very family oriented...even brought his 11 year old son to the hospital and introduced us. Very polite little boy...says he doesn't want to be a surgeon like dad but would rather be a baseball player. I would recommend Dr. Singh 100%.

My first impression of Dr. Singh was that he was trying to talk me out of the surgery. He said "come back in 8 weeks and we'll see how much more weight you've lost. Maybe we'll put it off another eight weeks from then". I said, "why don't we schedule the surgery now for a tentative date." When I came back in eight weeks he was very positive and upbeat and thought I was ready. He really makes the effort to find out if you are ready and that you know what to expect. I thought he was great and his office staff as well. The surgery went without a hitch and on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give him an 11. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who is considering this surgery.

Dr Singh is a good Surgeon I felt he had been operating too long the say he did my surgery I waited until 8pm to go to surgery and was in recovery until 1am I was suppose to go into surgery at 2pm I waited in waiting room laying on floor with low blood sugar until 6pm until waiting area closed and they finally admited me to the 4th floor and started a IV to keep me stable until surgery . Not completly his fault but someone needs to communicate at albany med there was no need for me to be left diabetic with low blood sugar on the floor or a waiting room waiting since 12 when I was suppose to be there for preop until 6pm when they finally paid attention that I was knocked out on the floor .Ive has lots of complications since the surgery and alot of surgerys to fix the problems if I had to do it again I probally not do it . I felt that Dr Singh could have been alittle more supportive when I was having all the problems and going through the surgerys with GI . Over all he is a nice guy and a nice surgeon but I feel he needs to be alittle more supportive when there are complications with surgery he performed .
