<left>Dr. Fang & Dr. Juarez are very professional, thorough and competent in the bariatric surgery field. There's no question too small or too big. Staff are friendly. Waiting room is spacious and roomy. Scale only goes to 350. Average time between surgical consult and office submitting your file to insurance is 4-6 weeks because files sit in the dictation void for a while. I had no complications with my Laproscopic RNY surgery. Dr. Fang was my surgeon. Pre-op, op and post-op care are the best!

I liked Dr Fang from the first time I met Him, I work at the hospital where he does a lot of his surgeries, I have had alot of good input on him before I chose him as my surgeon. He is very open and honest about everything, i would highly recommend Dr Fang to anyone who chooses to have the surgery. His bedside manner is very impressive, I had no problems after my surgery, and If I have any questions, all i have to do is call the office, and i get a fast response to my questions. I love Dr Fang, and his PA. the are the best in the west by far. I would rate them on a scale from one to ten....A TEN...Jacqueline RIddle

I have known Dr. Fang for some time as I work on the floor where all of his patients go post-op. I picked him because he does wonderful work and all of his patients really like him. Also, he has a good raport with the nurses which I really like.

He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Phoenix area who is thinking about having WLS :-)

Dr. Fang is a very soft-spoken, capable surgeon. I researched him and found only positive information. His bedside manner was excellent and I will recommend him to others, however I have not seen or had any contact with Dr. Fang since the day of my surgery. I'm not sure if he takes care of his own aftercare patients or not. It appears that he leaves this to his Physician's assistants.

When dealing with his staff, I always feel hurried and they appear very busy. In the informational seminar they skimmed over the risks.

I really like their dietician, Janelle. She is friendly, approachable and returns phone calls/e-mails promptly.

Dr. Fang has a wonderful bedside manner. He answered all of my questions, even some that were totally off the wall. He made me feel completely comfortable going into this. After surgery he answered more questions for me. He reemphasized the time table for activities I am allowed to do.

I met him only three weeks ago and what I saw, I liked. He stressed aftercare and wants all of his patients to have a relationship with St. Luke's Hopsital. This facility has a before surgery series of classes and offers aftercare--all of these things seem necessary to make it work.

I was very impressed with Dr Fang. He came in before I went to surgery and explained what will be happening to my husband and I and then talked to my family while I was in recovery. THe 2 nights I spent in the hospital he came and saw me both times. He was wonderful. His office staff was also very helpful. If I did it all over again, and yes I would do it again, I would definitely chose Dr Fang again. Besides, he has some really hot assistants that are just so sweet.

I like Dr Fang very much. He is a lot of compassion. At first i thought I thought the office was slow but I could have been inpatient too. They are all very nice now. He works with St lukes Bridges for aftercare and I have not gone to all of the after care programs because I study about WLS so much on my own through the internet. I would recommend him I wish he would work out of a different hospital.

I was taken aback, initially that Dr. Fang's office was like a real live medical office and not a make shift weight loss facility. Upon meeting Dr. Fang and the resident in training, they both wore scrubs which I had not seen in the 4 previous 'facilities' I went to. It took me a total of five years to make yet another attempt at having surgery and finally, I felt like this was the last. Dr. Fang came across as genuine, compassionate and concerned about why I was making this decision. Best of all, I didn't feel like I was being sold a new car! This was my life we were talking about, not just another commission to add to the books. We explored mostly the bypass proceedure but when I mentioned the Lab Band, his face lit up a bit and said that I would be a prime candidate. He also said something to me that I'll never forget. Even though I live each day in my fat world, he told me that I am very lucky to be the way I am and considering I have just one co-morbidity and my weight is very evenly distributed, I would have better results from either surgery, than most. This meant the world to me and helped me finally take last step to getting healthy. A doctor who is actually talking to me and not at me. He listened to me and actually heard me.

First impression of Dr Fang was very good. I went in with a printed list of a dozen questions and Dr. Fang answered each fully. He explained how and why the Lap RNY surgery works. He explained the process clearly. It was clear to me that this man knows his business.

His office staff was FABULOUS - Especially Angelia (who processes the insurance approvals) and Pat (the surgery scheduler). Both ladies were efficient, friendly, communicative, and supportive. It was a pleasure to deal with them every time I did.

Dr Fang is associated with the Bridges Center at St Luke's Hospital in Phonenix, AZ, and the Bridges Center has a very structured and clearly explained aftercare program.
