Hello Jeremy and Roberta, You don't know me but after reading your situation I couldnt help but to reply. You two remind me so much of my fiance and me. I wish there was something i could do to help. But just know that my family will have yours in prayer. Jeremy is lucky to have such a caring woman by his side. Trust me when I say that means more than anything. Jeremy...bless your heart....you are in my nightly prayers...i do know how difficult all this is for you....my 15 year old daughter has had a year from hell...we DO understand what you are going through and how you are feeling...its very hard to deal with jeremy...but it will get better....it just takes time....hang in there...god bless you and your family!!!!!

12/15/2004 I just got done speaking with Roberta, Jeremy's wife. She said that he's still listed as critical condition. He's having kidney dyalisist 24 hours a day now. He still has his open wound which the surgeon is saying will probably have to be skin graphed because they don't think they can close it back up. Jeremy is pretty much out of it, but she' happy that it's this way that way he might not remember any of this. They have him on some very heavy meds to pretty much keep him just sleeping. She said he really doesn't know what day it is, but he knows he's been in a long time. He's been wanting to know if he's lost anything, but she can't really say until he's able to get up which is going to be a long time. The surgeon really hasn't given long term what Jeremy's outlook is going to be. He's planning for the future though, which gives them hope that they think Jeremy will come out of all of this. Roberta really appreciates all the card and everything that people have done for them. She said they can't take cards into SICU, but as soon as he gets in a room of his own she's going to put them all up and read each one of them to Jeremy.

Hi Jeremy I am still praying for you and your family hang in there I know your going through alot but I believe you will be ok after hanging on this long keep staying strong and I bet you have lost weight lol. Thats funny even though you don't feel well you still have the humor to ask if you lost any weight. I don't blame you thats what you went there for right. We had our Sunday school class pray for Jeremy this last Sunday.I continue to pray and ask prayer for him. God please help this whole family today! Please let us know how he is doing as soon as you are able. Irene
