Sally, after watching your journey for months, I can't tell you how happy I am for you. I will have my surgery the day before you, so I won't be able to log on and see your progress, but I promise to check as soon as I get home. I, too, had to try 3 times. It feels good to finally jump and fly after so much struggle. It is scary, but so worth it!!! God bless you and carry you.

There are literally 1000s of people pulling for you right now - "our" Sally! Our prayers are with you (and there's a lot of weight behind those prayers)!! Hee-hee! Life is basically a self-fulfilling prophecy - wear the rosy colored glasses and KNOW that all will be wonderful. Dream lovely thoughts of next year at this time.... Good luck, speedy recovery, and positive thoughts!!

Sally, my prayers are with you. I know that you feel so alone, but there are angels to comfort you because so many people have asked for them for you. This is a great new beginning for you and I am so excited for you. God Bless you and keep you safe. We all love you.

Hi Sally. One nurse to another--ask your anesthesiologist for Versed. I told mine I was scared s#$%less, and he obliged. Don't remember anything after the wheeeeeeeee of the med! Woke up and it was all over! Best drug (right after morphine pumps) in the world! You'll be fine. I have faith in you! Hugs, Diana S.

Hi Sally, This is exactly what you wanted and here you go, over to the losing side. The Lord led you there even though you had a fighting battle all the way, now He will guide your surgeon to help you to be a healthy person again. Please try to relax and go with the flow. Everything is going to be just fine !! We all have our pre-op fears, but just feel all the love and prayers going out your way. We are all right there holding your hand and will be watching the AMOS board to find out that you made it to the other side with flying colors. With love and special prayers, Your friend from Allentown.

Sally, I'm so excited for you! Just think, in only 2 days you'll be on the losing side. Please know you are in my prayers.

Sally--You'll be in my prayers as usual, I'm so glad you've finally got date and it's only hours away from a wake for you. Thank you for writing about putting things down in writing. You're right, everyone should do this, even if they aren't having surgery. My dad has his whole funeral planned and paid for, as he's told me and my brother, all we have to do is show up. You're not going to need it anyway, I've got faith that you're going to come thru this with the proverbial flying colors and your life is just going to get better each and every day!!! Love, Monica
