GOODEVENING ALL...I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ANYONE... MY DR. TOLD ME WEDNESDAY, THAT MEDICARE WANT PAY FOR MY SURGERY, BUT MEDICAIDE WILL....DID I UNDERSTAND HIM RIGHT...AND WILL NOT PAY FOR THE FOBE POUCH, (ONLY PARCEL PART) I LIVE IN GEORGIA IN CASE THAT MATTERS...ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME IS THIS RIGHT.... THANKS, AND GOD BLESS U ALL HAVING SURGERY THIS WEEK...LOVEDOVE

Hi Dovie. I have used Chamomile oil to calm my nerves. With a good cup of hot tea(caffiene free) and if that doesn't work, go out side and let everyone know your frustrated by giving a big shout! Then the worries you will have is what color of straight jacket will I pick when the neighbors call the funny farm on me. lol just a bit of humor for you. I'm becoming frazzled too. And I haven't even had my surgeon consult yet. March 18th is when I go see Dr Jorgensen. SO i am taking it a day at a time. But am sure I will feel the same frustrations as you when I get to hurry up and wait. Until later.

Dovie, I hate to say it but my wait was a total of 8 months. From Aug 02 to April 03. ( I HOPE nothing causes it to be delayed). Hang in there. As I said before I had to go on anti anxiety meds to get thru this. Jamie

~WLS~ I HAVE A QUESTION....THE NURSE TOLD ME WEDNESDAY, THAT THERE WAS A LONG WAITING LIST...MONTHS.. WILL I REALLY HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG, I DON'T THINK MY HEART CAN TAKE ALL THE STRESS...I WILL BE A TOTAL WRECK BY THEN....THANKS TO ALL U FOR THE MANY E-MAILS I HAVE RECIEVED.. You sound like a really special person, and when it comes down to it, THAT'S what truly counts. *You* might not like what you see on the outside, but your friends and loved ones only see what's on the inside. Dovie, I think at some point when we get on the scales we all just want to shoot ourselves. Don't be too hard on yourself. You are on your way now, you had the courage to take the first step and it will see you through all the other steps. Best wishes to you on the beginning of your journey to a healthier, thinner life. Hi Dovie, girl I know that feeling!! stepped on the scale at the docs the first time.... 356!! I'm thinking... who all are they weighing here??how did i get that big?? Then after my consult, I had "last supper" syndrome and probably gained another 15 lbs.!! Well, that's all behind me .. you will love being a loser. Best wishes to you
