Angel update ~*~ I just spoke to Dianne and she has asked for your prayers. Larry is in ICU and is very combative. He is fighting the respirator and trying to get up. Dr. Husted has been in and stated that if Larry pulls the respirator out there will be NO way to get it back in and Larry is NOT able to brethe on his own yet. Please pray that Larry calms down and gets some rest. They have medicated him and restrained him. The surgery went well, it was lengthy but Dr. Husted said it went well. Larry was developing a condition where his intestines were twisting and possibly causing a blockage, therefore it can be said that this surgery has saved Larry's life twice. Hang in there Larry, you can do it!!! Larry will probably be on the respirator through out tomorrow, so your prayers are very appreciated!!! Angel signing off~*~

Congrats Larry and welcome to the post op side of life. I pray that you will have a fast and easy recovery. Just do exactly what the doc says (men are famous for NOT doing what they are told, lol). Congrats on making it thru to the "other side", Larry. I'm coming up on the 2 week to go mark. I do Open RNY on 8/16. I'll be watching to see how you do. God be with you as you continue on the post-op side of the journey. Doug
