Oh I am so very sorry to hear of this lovely lady's passing. She is with God & free of pain. I hope her family is doing OK. I know she will be missed. Please take care- she is at peace. Bless you all.

I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathies to all of Darlene's family. Every time we lose someone on this site, it's like losing a family member, it doesn't matter whether we have met in person or not. So we feel heart broken and saddened by the loss of Darlene, but she is with her Lord now, and He has placed His arms around her and said, "You fought so hard, my daughter, but now is your time to rest..." Wow, I've just read Darlene's story from start to finish, and I'm blown away--with sadness because I did not know her sooner, but with amazement at the brave and terrific person she was. I'm just starting my journey toward WLS--hoping for September date. Darlene was buried today, but she will live on. I will ask her to be looking over God's shoulder while I'm in surgery. To her family--my sincere condolences--your love and caring will be rewarded. May God's arms be around you as you grieve.
