Martha - Just want to say hello and thank you for your good wishes. Your surgery is coming up fast, too. You're right to look at the new year as a new beginning, but truly, every DAY is a new beginning and you CAN handle this...take it one HOUR at a time. (Try a protein drink to help cut down the cravings) We are going to have the BEST year, the BEST REST of our LIVES! Hang tough!

hi martha!! i feel the same exact way you do about this site and the people here. i have had so much more support from these members than from some of my own family.. i am pre op too(for 12 more days :>) and am a bit nervous, but i know i will make it safely to the other side,and so will you..i just pray daily and ask god to keep me safe and to help me to have an uncomplicated surgery and recovery..i know he is listening.god is great!! your time will be here b4 you know it.. i am going a little stir crazy now that my time is so close..i want it here now..lol.. patience seems to go out the window the closer the date gets.. i wish you the very best and look forward to seeing you on the losing side.. best wishes and take care..:. jeanne lap rny 1-16-03 happy,happy day!!:>

Martha, Where exactly do you find the syrups you were talking about to mix with the protein drinks? Good luck in your WLS ourney.... May god be with you
