Julie-Wishing you the best of luck with surgery. Dr. Owens did my surgery last June and I've lost 85 pounds now! You are right, the staff at his office are the nicest people you'd ever want to meet! Take advantage of the support group while in Orange County if you can...it really helps! Elaine

Julie, I am wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and can honestly say that I have NO regrets other than not having had WLS several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.
