The tears we shed tonight are tears for ourselves. Some say this is a time for celebration and perhaps they're right, for John is now at peace. He feels no pain, no sadness, and no lonliness. Yet although John is free of those earthly trials, we, his friends and family are not. We feel the pain of losing a dear friend, the sadness of a great life taken, and the lonliness that surely follows when such an uplifting constant is gone from our lives. My condolences to all who were touched by this wonderful man.

My condolences go out to John's family. John worked so hard to have surgery and a new life and this is just so unfair. He has touched so many lives on OH and will never be forgotten.
