I just read about John's passing, I am deeply deeply saddened. I never had the pleasure of meeting John, but enjoyed his posts and read his profile. I know he was a tender spirit. My sincere condolences to his family and friends, may God ease your sorrow with every passing day.

John's Family ** I did not know him personally, but I read his journal...I'm sorry it took over 2 years to get this surgery, and then for this to happen. I hope you all have had a chance to read his journal to understand, how badly he wanted this surgery, for his HEALTH. He gave it a shot, he could have waited until OBESITY beat him, but he had to try....Just like I did. I THANK GOD, everyday that I lied through it... I'm sorry that John did not, at least now he is in a better place, and without pain, or cellulitis.......GOD BLESS YOU ALL....Tanya L from TX

I wish I was attending the memorial. I always loved reading his posts and was devastated when I heard of your loss. It's amazing how someone you have never met can affect you so emotionally. I'm glad I knew of him and had the pleasure of reading his writings. He left an amazing mark on all of us here.
