Hello Shannon, I am also new at this. I have my consultation on July 21st. and his assistant said if I get all of my stuff in that she put on the paper before the 21st and she hear from insurance she can schedule a date. I am nervous but yet very excited about feeling better about myself. I was refered to this site by one of my friends and she also refered me to the surgeon. It has been a year for her and she has lost over 100lbs. and feels and looks great. Good Luck and stay prayed up. Check out my profile and email me sometime. i am all the way in Arkansas. Anita
