Hello everyone! I finally made it home...Praise God! It has been a long, tough road but one I'm very grateful for. I have learned many lessons along the way that will forevery change who I am. I still have eight retintion sutures in my stomache and will get them out on January 17. I'm still in a wheel chair but hopefully will be shedding that soon. I have lost 79 pounds as of Dec 14 and am looking forward to the rest of my life. I hope that if anyone reads my story they won't be discouraged because I have become a stronger person from all the trials and Im loving the way I eat now and the fact that for the first time in my entire life, I'm going to be a normal person. It's really great. I encourage anyone looking into it, to do it. Just make sure you spend a significant amount of time with your surgeon first and investigate everything about him and the hospital before you go in. Don't let there be any doubts. Thank you so much for all your support and prayers. It paid off!! I just hope that I will be able to be there for anyone else who needs support!

Hello All:) I talked with Stacie this evening and all seem to be going well. She is off the Morphine pump and now taking Lortab every 4 hrs. The nausea she was having has subsided after getting off the pump:) DH Matt is over his cold and will be spending the weekend at the hospital with Stacie:) It's still looking good for release on Monday:) I got one of those colds that's been going around so I won't be visiting in person until after Stacie goes home on Monday. She will again be going to her Mom-in-Law Bonnie's place for the first week or so. Stacie can't wait to get back home to her own place and back to her computer so she can get back to the chat room:) Please remember to keep Stacie in your Prayers:) Sending Warm Healing Skinny Thoughts to All:) ttfn
