Hello everyone!
I finally made it home...Praise God!
It has been a long, tough road but one I'm very
grateful for. I have learned many lessons along the way that will forevery change who I am.
I still have eight retintion sutures in my stomache and will get them out on January 17. I'm still in a wheel chair but hopefully will be shedding that soon. I have lost 79 pounds as of Dec 14 and am looking forward to the rest of my life. I hope that if anyone reads my story they won't be discouraged because I have become a stronger person from all the trials and Im loving the way I eat now and the fact that for the first time in my entire life, I'm going to be a normal person. It's really great. I encourage anyone looking into it, to do it. Just make sure you spend a significant amount of time with your surgeon first and investigate everything about him and the hospital before you go in. Don't let there be any doubts. Thank you so much for all your support and prayers. It paid off!! I just hope that I will be able to be there for anyone else who needs support!
