Hi Cathy, We are almost neighbors...I live in Chino Hills and I am 13 weeks postop and I have lost 60lbs so far...I could not be happier. Your decision to have GB Surgery was a right one...you will not be disapointed. I pray that when your day for surgery come that you will be in the best of care and recover without any compications. May your Recovery be and uneventful one and may you come home feeling Great. If you do not have an Angel, I will gladly volunteer...just email me OK? God Bless you.

Cathie - congratulations on your WLS journey! The nearest support groups to you that I know of are in Hawaiian Gardens and Costa Mesa. Go to www.cstobesity.com and click on the left side on Newsletter and the current issue date, then go to page 7 for locations and dates/times. This is the Fobi Pouch site; I'm also a Kaiser patient, and I've been to their meetings in Van Nuys and they welcome patients who are not Fobi patients and people just learning about the surgery. They also have meetings in Nevada at Las Vegas & Reno and in California at San Francisco, Riverside, West Los Angeles, Palmdale/Lancaster and Victorville - and, one in Alaska!
