"Even though I am still pre op, I have found Dr. Sandoval the be the best and most caring DR I have ever seen. I feel comfortable asking him anything, because of his unhurried and thoughtful answers to my many questions. He has done an excellent job of helping me to gain control over my Asthma (no easy task, let me tell you) and providing me with all of the necessary steps for weight loss approval. I have been impressed with the way he has handled my pre op care in the regard to finding things in my blood work that needed care before I undergo surgery. He has NEVER said one thing negative about my weight problem, and seems to understand that this is a very difficult problem to overcome. He has only offered helpful advice, and has not badgered me about my weight in the least. Believe me, this is RARE behavior from a DR to a patient of 400 pounds. I came to him for help, and that is what I am receiving. He is open to the idea of WLS and is doing all he can to see that I get there. All in all, a wonderful DR. "
