Robin, My suggestion would be to go back to see your surgeon and ask him about this problem..tel him teh problems you are haivng and when they started.. also tell him what the nurtritionist said and the problems that you are having after you took her advice.. Please get some medical attention..

Hi Robin~~I saw your message board post today. I have some questions for you. Were you stapled and transected????? If so I doubt you are having a staple line disruption. If your stomach wasn't cut then you could have something wrong??? I looked at your eating and I was about where you are in terms of calories at the same time. I relied a lot on Lowfat cheese salad with fat free dressing and non fat milk during that time along with a protein bar. I never had hunger issues but I found that I had to spread things around during the day. I have never been good at trying to eat a set meal I get full too fast and cant eat enough at one sitting. This makes me hungry sooner. Perhaps if you tried to eat smaller amount throughout the day your blood sugar would stay more constant. Are you exercising a lot now???? The more calories you burn the more hungry you will get too. Have you ever experienced throwing up from being too full???? Perhaps you need to test the waters and see if you have any restrictive features left in your new pouch?? Finally go back to your surgeon for help. This sounds like it may be a medical issue if you have tried everything else and you are still starving. Good luck to you. Wendi open RNY 9/19/02 down 125lbs

Robin - I just had the opportunity to read your journal. I was so inspired by your ability to express yourself and say what is in your heart that I had to write. You made me feel real good, I know that I must dig deeper into myself before my surgery August 26, 2003. I know that you will continue to loose weight and reach your goal. I come to these pages often, and yes I am touched by others journeys but I can't explain it but yours hit a cord. Thank you. Mommamere
