I went for my first visit with Dr. Stickler in May. He was very nice and his office staff were very friendly as well. I had to fill out papers, answers questions, etc... There was a big "test" to see if I knew about the surgery and what I was getting into. The visit lasted about 3 hrs - had to see the Dr., the nurse, and the dietician. My insurance covered the Dr. visit, but I had to pay $75 for the dietician. The psychiatrist was not in that day so I had to schedule it for 2 weeks later. I had my psych evaluation in June. It went well... I think. Now I am just waiting for Dr. Stickler's office to dictate and send to my insurance for approval. I am keeping my fingers crossed! I am so miserable at this weight........ I pray the insurance will approve and I can get a new lease on life. I have 2 children to keep up with and it would sure be easier if I had more energy!
