Has anyone had hiatal hernia repair for the 3rd time? I am 16 years post op and have another hernia. The first time it was repaired, it was with mesh. The 2nd time they removed the mesh and my Dr said he had secured it and I should never return. Guess what, it's back!

I have been lurking here since I joined last July. I had my RNY on August 1-07 and am currently down 88 lbs. I want to thank everyone for all the support I've gotten from this website. It has gotten me through many times when I wasn't sure what to expect. This particular post gave me lots of info- I was beginning to think something was wrong in that I am able to eat more than I thought I should-now I see that it is perfectly normal. Thanks again. And I will be posting more often.
