Jane Austen fans?

I just finished Sense & Sensibility. I didn't like it as well as Pride & Prejudice. I was a little disappointed. Am I the only one? I haven't yet read Emma, but I bought a used copy and will get to it as soon as I finish the my current book club book.

Love Jane Austen. Some people refer to her as a "***** Monster" I see no such thing. She hard on the characters who deserve to be protrayed harshly. She doesn't pull her punches. Bravo. She was so restricted in those days any. Everyone had to be oh so polite. So she wasn't always polite. I'm not always polite myself so I guess that makes me a "***** Monster." By the way, the movie "Clueless" is patterned after "Emma" in case you've never noticed. It's funny. Read Emma then watch Clueless. Very funny. Lynda D.
