This powder is excellent. I use 1 1/2 scoops with 8 oz of water, 4 ice cubes, and two tablespoons of no sugar added Nestle Quik powder. Shake it up and it mixes very well and tastes great. It is good without the nestle quik powder also, I just like the extra chocolate flavor that it adds.
(indicates that they have used the product)Taste of the Chocholate is absolutely fabulous. The best I've had. You can buy direct from EAS over the web by the case. It averages to about $8.50 per container. I found it at our BJ's Wholesale for $12.99 for a two pack. Give it a try--you won't be disappointed!
(indicates that they have used the product)This was one of the best protein shakes I tasted. It mixes easily, is not gritty or chalky, and comes in both vanilla and chocolate flavors. I like that it is affordable and I can just pick it up at Wal-Mart when I do my weekly shopping, rather than make a special trip to the health food store. The nutritional value is also comparable to many other shakes on the market. Overall it is a great one for post-ops to try.
(indicates that they have used the product)This is the best tasting protein drink I have ever encountered. The only thing that keeps it from being excellent overall is that it only has 15 gm of protein for 110 calories. However, it tastes good enough that I will drink it, even when nothing sounds good.
(indicates that they have used the product)I got used to these by mixing in a few ounces of skim milk. I was able to tolerate the chocolate flavors and the strawberry but just could not handle the vanilla. These only have 15g of protein, and when I added the skim milk that ended up being about 16oz. that I had to drink. I just don't think they're worth it when you can get ProBlend or ProScore products that are about 30g or so of protein in 8oz. of water. It's good to know they're out there though in case I run out of BroBlend or ProScore and am without a protein shake while I'm reordering.
