Michelle Smith Registered Nurse RN, Bariatric Skilled Care Nurse

I am a registered nurse and obtained my degree from State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri. I have worked as a nurse for nearly 30 years, with experience in med-surg, skilled nursing, clinical nursing, surgical nursing and home health. Since the arrival of our bariatric physician, Dr. Joseph, in 2012, I have worked as his clinical nurse and assist him in surgery. This job allows me to do all the things I love, working with people, teaching, working in surgery and watching patients progress in their weight loss journeys to better health. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my three boys, gardening, caring for my yard and flowers, reading and riding my Harley with my husband.
