Sue Kitto Bariatric Skilled Care Nurse BSN, Bariatric Coordinator

Bariatric Coordinator I graduated from the University of Iowa and taught secondary special education in Nebraska for 8 years before moving to Missouri in 1990. I completed my BSN at the University of Missouri in 1993 and have worked at Bothwell Regional Health Center since then, serving as staff nurse and charge nurse on the orthopedic unit for 14 years.  In 2007, I transitioned to joint care coordinator for our Total Knee & Hip Replacement Center, and in 2008 assumed the role of assistant director for the orthopedic and med-surg units. Since the arrival of our bariatric surgeon, Dr. Joseph, in 2012 I have additionally served as the bariatric coordinator. This provides a great mix of all the things I love – planning and implementation, teaching and most of all working with patients and helping them feel better and reach their goals! Outside of work my passions are reading and golden retrievers!
