Moein Surgical Arts Plastic Surgery Center
Dr Moein is very nice and answers all of your questions that you have, but make sure that you ask them while you are at the office for your appointment. If you try calling the office with any questions, you can expect to wait a couple days before your call is returned. No matter what time of day I call or what my concern is, I am always told that everyone is busy with patients and I will have to wait for a call back or until my next appointment. To me this can be very frustrating especially if it is a simple question. They staff is very friendly, but they are very busy.
Dr. Moeinolmolki is very nice and takes his time to talk with you concerning questions you may have about the process or surgery after care.rnrnThe office staff is always friendly and makes sure that messages are received.rnrnFuture patients should know that Dr. Moeinolmolki is very kind and considerate of your feelings.rnrnDr. M does emphasize aftercare.rnrnI was very nervous before my surgery on the day of surgery. He sat down with me an explained to me why I was having it done and that it was a good decision and that I was in his good care. He told me my fears were normal, but truly there was nothing to be afraid of.rnrnI would rate Dr. M with a 9. I also feel that he is equally surgically competent and has a nice bedside manner.
I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Moein. I came through my surgery with flying colors. He was very supportive, and very caring. He was one of the first in the OR, putting the compression things on my legs and talking to me about the procedure. He called my out of town family and let them know I was doing well. He visited me in my room several times. I know I made a great choice! I know I am working with someone who cares about seeing me succeed. Don't let his quietness fool you. He knows what he is doing, and knows how to do it well.
I went to a required Open House, with the intentions of selecting Dr. Von Reuden as my surgeon. After hearing Dr. Moen speak, I felt a connection to him. He has a been a wonderful surgeon and a source of information. I am delighted each time that I need to speak with him or visit the office.rnrnIn regards to the office, they are very busy. It is not at all unusual to wait 10-20 minutes for your call to be answered. When messages are left, they are typically returned within 24 hours. I overpaid my \"estimated charges\" and I am still waiting for my refund. I will update the group on that.
I met with Dr. Moein yesterday for my 6th diet supervision and to discuss the lap-band. He suggested doing gastric but I refused, I want the band. He informed me that soon Fills will not be covered by insurance and that it will run close to $300 per fill. I didn't know he only did them every 6 months. I am traveling 3 1/2 hours to get this surgery done, I have had most out of the 6 visits rescheduled or the nutritionalist or Dr. Moein has not been available. They are VERY busy and are not very organized with what they do. I was also told yesterday that I have to drive over there again for a pre-op class that will have to be 2 weeks prior to surgery. If they tell you in the beginning they will work with you when you live out of the area, they don't. I'm just hoping that when the time of the surgery comes that things will be better organized.
Fills are very hard to come by. I have found out after my surgery that Dr. Moein says that he only does fills once every six month. He has also told me that I was lucky to be getting my second fill within 2 months of having my first. The office staff is short staffed and right now I am trying to find another doctor that will be willing to provide my aftercare without a whole lot of arm twisting. rnrnThis is my own personal opinion based on my experience with my surgeon and his office. I cannot state what other people may experience with this office.
Dr. Moein is awesome! I can't say enough good about him. A week after my surgery I ran into a complication. I called him at 6:00am in the morning and he met me at the emergency room. Within hours he had me admitted and in a room. My fever spiked to 104 and the nurses told me that Dr. Moein called every hour to check on me. I had another 5 day stay in the hospital and when I was out of the danger zone, he allowed me to go home. Of course I went with IV antibiotics and a home nurse, but I was more comfortable in my own bed. When I saw him for my check up I was suffering from thrush from all the antibiotics and I begged him to put everything back to the way it was. I was tired of not feeling good. He put his arm around me and encouraged me to continue going forward. He said I would be ok and I am! I am down almost 50 lbs and I'm so grateful to Dr. Moein. Thank you Sir!
I met with Dr. Moen on 10/26. He was nice and answered all our questions. I was impressed with him because he took the time to talk to Estelle [my partner] and I about a news story he had heard that day about Gay marriage in New Jersey. On this first visit, we were to visit with all parts of the team. We were very disappointed to find that our visit with the nutritionist and the nurse practitioner were so abbreviated. I felt like my visit wasn't really as important to them as it was to me. The visit was MAJOR to me. I hope subsequent visits are better. rnrnI just read my initial impressin of Dr. Moen and I have to say that my impression of him has improved immensely/ I first met him in a visit in October. I didn't think Dr. Moen was really into it. I met him again in December at a holiday party at the center. I introduced myself to him because I figured he had forgotten me. He hadn't. He remembered me and he remembered Estelle. He was very personable and terrific. I felt so comfortable with him after that interaction. Again in March we met with him and he was terrific again. I am very happy that he's my surgeon.
